Kuwait re-allowed direct commercial flights with Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka on Wednesday after direct flights to these six countries were restricted in light of COVID-19 curbs. The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, which underlined that flights with these countries will be subjected to measures identified by Kuwait’s ministerial coronavirus emergency committee.

The Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is said to have set a ‘quota’ for 29 airlines operating at the Kuwait International Airport quota based on a decision to increase the operating capacity to 7,500 passengers per day, while the quota for some destinations has been increased while for others it remains the same.

BASAHIN PO ANG ABISO AT INTINDIHIN. Salamat PO!.

Ipinapaalam sa publiko ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na ang permanenteng opisina nito sa Salwa Area ay magkakaroon ng soft opening ngayong 15 Agosto 2021, NGUNIT PARA LAMANG SA MGA SERBISYONG KONSULAR NITO NA NON-PASSPORT: Authentication, Notarial (Special Power of Attorney), Report of Birth, at Report of Marriage.

Ang mga aplikante ng serbisyong konsular na non-passport ay kailangang kumuha muna ng online appointment bago sila pumunta sa permanenteng opisina ng Embahada sa Salwa Area. Sisimulan muli ng Embahada na magbukas ng mga bagong non-passport appointment slot sa Setmore website nito (http://kuwaitpe.setmore.com) ngayong Biyernes, 13 Agosto 2021.

Dahil sa init ng panahon, ang mga aplikante ay pinapakiusapang magdala ng payong, at nakaboteng tubig o iba pang pampalipas-uhaw habang nasa bagong opisina ng Embahada.

ANG PASSPORT RENEWAL AT PASSPORT RELEASING AY MANANATILI SA MOBILE PASSPORT SERVICE NG EMBAHADA SA AL-SAHEL SPORTS CLUB SA ABU HALIFA AREA, HANGGANG SA SUSUNOD NA ABISO NG EMBAHADA. Ang contract processing at verification, vaccination certificate validation, OWWA membership renewal, at Pag-IBIG Fund at SSS membership application ay magpapatuloy din sa Al-Sahel Sports Club, hanggang sa susunod nitong abiso.

Ang bagong lokasyon ng Embahada ay sa House 15, Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa Street, Block 1 sa Salwa Area, malapit sa Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud Road (Road 30). Ang pinakamalapit na hintuan ng bus, na sineserbisyuhan ng Bus No. 102, ay 360 metro lamang ang layo mula sa bagong opisina ng Embahada.

Umaapela ang Embahada sa publiko na suotin ang face mask sa lahat ng oras, at gawin ang dalawang-metrong physical distancing sa isa’t-isa. May pananagutan ang mga Pilipino sa Kuwait na panatilihing ligtas at maayos ang Embahada sa lahat ng oras.
