There is no truth to what is being circulated about imposing a fine of 500 dinars for not fingerprinting domestic workers.

The Ministry of Interior denied the accuracy of what is being circulated regarding imposing a fine of 500 Kuwaiti dinars for domestic workers not taking biometric fingerprints, stressing that what is being circulated in this regard is incorrect.

The Ministry called on all residents to take the biometric fingerprint before the deadline of December 31, 2024, to avoid any suspension of their official transactions after the deadline. It also stressed the importance of obtaining information from official sources and avoiding the spread of rumours.
