Can’t get enough of beach life at Almond Beach Hideaway, Spot Bay, Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands. This curly tail lizard (lime lizard) was not planning on moving at all, but in the end it turn chicken, it lasted long true.

Well lookie here. A Great White Egret took me up on my invite to walk the ironshore peeking in the rockholes at Almond Beach Hideaway. Ok more like eating the tiny fish in the rockholes but every mouth needs to be fed and there are plenty fish in the sea.

You never know what you’ll see from the seashore. ‘Too rough to snorkel or just have a small child with you, then go explore the iron shore rockholes (tidal pools) right in front Almond Beach Hideaway. The rockholes are full of exciting sea life. Especially if you give the lill sandsharks a bit of bait to entice them from under the rocks.’

As dusk bids her goodbye, just west of Almond Beach Hideaway, Man-o-Wars play above the waves. Almost touching the outstretched hands of the little boy who had just been fishing with his Grandmother. Having cleaned his catch as a big fisherman would do, the boy had attracted their attention. As the magnificent birds are swooping down to try pick up the fat and gills the fisherman had discarded.
