You can learn about this important ecosystem and experience first-hand the mangrove forest on either our Boat Tour, Guided Mangrove & Seagrass Snorkel Tour or our Kayak Tour. Mangrove Boat Tour:
Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9am; Wednesdays 2pm
Suitable for all family members! Mangrove Kayak Tour:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8:30am

Mangrove Snorkel Tour:
Mondays, Fri

days, Saturdays at 1pm

We can also try to accommodate alternate days and times by request. Charters to Stingray City and various snorkel spots in the North Sound are available. Tours leave from the Cayman Islands Yacht Club near Seven Mile Public Beach. Complimentary pick up available in the Seven Mile Beach area and George Town, including the Port!

Did you know there are 3 different species of Mangroves in Cayman?

Red Mangrove (Rhizophora mangle)
White Mangrove (Laguncularia racemosa)
Black Mangrove (Avicennia germinans)

Understanding their similarities and differences, along with the other plants typically growing alongside them like Buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus), will help you recognize them quickly when you’re out exploring our shorelines.
