1️⃣The Big Almaty Lake
ℹ️ One of the most beautiful lakes in Zaalayskiy Alatau Mountains, in Almatinka gorge. The length of the lake is 1.6 km
2️⃣The Turgen gorge
ℹ️ Famous for waterfalls. One of these attractions is the Bear Falls, about 30 meters high. Bozgul waterfall made a real tunnel in the rock
3️⃣The Kaindy Lake

Big Almaty Lake is a natural alpine reservoir high up in the Tien Shan (Trans-Ili Alatau range) mountains that stand proudly south of Almaty. The lake itself is around 15 kilometers from the city center, but obviously, the drive takes a bit longer 🚖

The lake is 2511 meters above sea level and is at its fullest in August and lowest in February.

The lake empties out into the Big Almaty river which flows down into the city. The lake is a major source of drinkable water for the city of Almaty and as a result, no swimming is allowed...

📍Almaty, First President's Park

The Park is located in the southern part of Almaty and has a spectacular mountain backdrop. The park is the home of the annual music festival called “Almaty – my first love”. The concert is held in front of the semicircular colonnade shown in the images. 🌞🌞

The amphitheatre atmosphere is highlighted by the fountains and water features to the rear. The park is about 1.5 km from one end to the other with trees and habitats interspersed with features.🌈🌈

The best time to come is between June August... What's so attractive are the long semi circular pillars that cover the main entrance of the park.

In Almaty, for example there is a mosque called the ' central kosque' one of the largest mosques in Almaty, and in Kazakhstan. Designed for 7000 visitors, it was built on the site of the old mosque that dated to 1890 and caught fire in 1987
