As of now, the Laos government has revoked the visa exemptions granted during "Visit Laos Year 2024." The country has returned to its previous visa policies, ensuring smooth travel for visitors while maintaining its welcoming spirit. 🌏

🛬 Visa Options:

30-day Visa on Arrival or e-Visa is accepted at all major ports of entry, including:
Wattay International Airport, Vientiane
Luang Prabang International Airport
Most land border crossings with Thailand
🌍 Visa-Free Visits remain for:

15 days: Japan, Luxembourg, Myanmar, Switzerland
30 days: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam

Tourists arriving in Vietnam with vapes now face painful fines following new rules that came into force at the start of the year banning the possession, sale and use of vapes and liquids. Officially this is the law in Laos so don't be surprised if you're fined.

Australia, Turkey, Singapore, Mexico, India, Brazil, the Maldives and Thailand are among other countries that do not allow travellers to bring vapes with them
