The Royal Palace Museum, or Haw Kham, is the crown jewel of Luang Prabang’s cultural heritage. Built in 1904, it was originally the residence of the Lao monarchy, blending traditional Lao and French colonial architectural styles. Inside, the museum tells the fascinating story of Laos’ royal past. The main hall displays a mix of royal regalia, priceless art, and ancient religious artifacts, including the Prabang Buddha statue—an iconic, sacred symbol that the city is named after.

As you stroll through the elegantly designed rooms, you’ll encounter beautifully preserved royal possessions, including a collection of luxurious textiles, ceremonial objects, and a stunning array of religious relics.

English Speaking Guide in Laos, With A Minivan

I am Mr Noy, a licensed tour guide in Laos, who was trained by the Tourism Department of Laos in 2010. Based in Luang Prabang, I guided an extensive range of tours since 2011 and have travelled all around Laos from the North to South of the country. I have organised and customised all kinds of tours in accordance to my guests’ needs, including sightseeing or classic tours, corporate team building tours to adventurous tours such as trekking, biking and kayaking.

In addition, I have an air conditioned Toyota Hiace 2018 Minivan, where I can conduct tours to all parts of Laos with up to 10 people.

Other than my native language Lao, I communicate fluently in English and Thai, as well as proficient in Spanish on an intermediary level. With strong understanding of the local culture and history, I aim to provide my guests with extraordinary insights to the beautiful country of Laos
