first class of business graduates was awarded degrees. Today,
it remains an innovative and incessantly improving school,
and the European Foundation for Management
Development, responsive to the changing face of business in today’s
world. Alumni, students and employers testify to the exceptional education
provided by the LAU Adnan Kassar School of Business. The school’s success is driven by
a particular business model which trains students for real-life challenges
and is underpinned by robust academic research. Graduates emerge
well-rounded, fluent in contemporary business issues and equipped
with the skills and experiences they need to compete in the world’s
economies and markets. Our graduates are one of the top managers and business
leaders in Lebanon and the Middle East, and they are sought after by
leading professional employers. The school has been named the “Adnan Kassar School of Business” on 21 April 2015, following a generous donation endowed by Adnan Kassar, Chair of Fransabank Group & the Lebanese Economic Organization, as well as the Honorary Chair of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce. The naming of the school is also an act of gratitude to the chair who never ceases to support and contribute to quality education, particularly at LAU.
