قالتلي عجوزتي :

سكتت مع نفسي بعد اكتر من ما كنت ساكتي
و سكنت بأعماقي مع عجوزتي

تواسيني و واسيها
ترندحلي و غنّيلا

Finding balance between stability and comfort off and on the mat ✨

"Sthira Sukham Asanam ", this famous sutra of sage Patanjali teaches us that asana should be a balance between steadiness (sthira) and ease (sukham).

Asana means posture and not any posture … asana is a posture in which you find stillness.

On the mat, some postures might be challenging and it’s only when you push little bit further to come out of your comfort zone while respecting the body limits that you can witness those moments of bliss between strength and flexibility.
It’s the subtle conscious breath that you take and give to resist and adapt.. It’s the pop up thought that you witness its presence and let it go gracefully…
It’s this present-moment awareness that you cultivate during the practice ..

it’s about finding a balance between effort and surrender.

Now Off the mat 😏

Finding stillness in every Asana/ posture/ situation in life seems like an impossible mission (specially when you are a woman dealing with your hormonal seasons every month🤤…oups no sexism, we can all do it!)

Ouf, I am tired. This blood full moon is really playing with my mood but wait am I not supposed to be overcoming the thoughts and finding stillness in between my breaths? Isn’t it the deal after 15 years of yoga?

Now between my wild thoughts, I take a deep breath IN and I realise the situation as it is from the observer eye and yes yes it’s working ..I can see it clearly. The cause and effect vicious circle .. it’s here again..yalla come to mama Habibi! Your own self-awareness that you’ve been trying hard to build (on & off the mat) comes to you at this moment (ya hala) and helps you to witness the root cause of the situation.. you see it, realise the trigger, work on it, become at peace with it and let it dissolve in the ocean of your forgiveness so that you come out more resilient and soft, steady and stable, strong and comfortable🤍

Yoga is a state of being… it’s when you experience oneness everywhere ( دخيلكن خلصنا ما بقا بدنا🥹🎈)

Still the same side smile 😏

Sitting today with the same side smile on my face, remembering myself 10 years ago when I was 23, young and free🌻

I was on a 6 month unplanned trip in India with a one way ticket.. because who knows if the gypsy in me would ever like to come back to a normal conditioned life?
I never had strict boundaries anyways so travelling without limits was not a big deal for the little lioness in me.

I found myself so present while doing nothing… but I was actually doing everything!
I needed this stillness to listen deeply to my inner self..
I needed to walk the mountains silently without a word.. I needed to hear the prayers of other communities..
I needed to meet strangers and become family..
I needed this time to understand the whole huge world inside out..

I used to always feel overwhelmed by the tiniest details of life and I went out to even look for more details or maybe finding how useless are the details when we understand the source of all of them!

Roaming around india like a local, searching for the truth? Looking for a big father outside of me? Looking for God? Is it a he or a she?

My questions were endless (and they still are 🥹)..

Now I look back again and give a big smile to myself… realising how symbolic was my backpack 🎒 I was holding the weight of my pain on my shoulders back then and giving away some clothes from my backback was nothing but the start of a healing journey towards a lighter life filled with growth and awareness.

After all, aren’t we all on earth for healing and getting closer to perfection? Aren’t we supposed to find light inside of us that will help mirror our outside life?
Aren’t we all searching for love and connection?

We are all interconnected and it’s wonderful to witness that deep purpose of life and feel its magic✨

Reading my book « the symbolic language of geometrical figures » and observing my son discovering the world of shapes with his magnetic tiles🎈

Let’s watch the movement of water and fire!

Water flows and spread in a horizontal line while the fire rises and goes up in a vertical direction. Those two elements represent the masculin and feminine principles of life : active and passive, emissive and receptive, spirit and matter, intellect and heart, wisdom and love, man and woman.

The cross can represent the feminine and masculine that meet in the centre point to work together in the universe.
While the work is happening, the cross is moving forming a circle : the sun ☀️

Stronger is the movement, warmer is the sun ✨

I wish we find the cross in our hearts and we keep it in movement to discover our own sun 🤍

We are excited to announce about Our 10 day Nepalese Backpacking Yogic Aventura from 19th till 28th of April!

This is not your regular touristic pre-planed trip😌!

Goa is all about sun, sea and sand 🌞🌊🌴 and our Goa Yoga Adventurous retreat was all about connectedness, love, self awareness, fun and laughter with a masala aventura twist 😉!

Yoga is really not about how far you go with your asana but more how you find stillness in it and how you BE!
And how are you going to BE if we push you gently outside your comfort zone?
It will be hard to adjust, accept and let go but oh how the heart will expand and grow!

Une maman kangourou, attachée à son enfant, oui c’est ce que Saja l’aventurière est devenue...

En le voyant tout indépendant, je me dis “je suis fière de mon attachement”...

Un attachement sain qui nourrit profondément nos deux âmes et renforce notre lien affectif et spirituel💛

Je partagerai plus mon expérience de maman avec le temps et pour le moment je me contente de partager les photos de notre dernière aventure à Goa🌊🧘‍♂️🤍 .. dans le next post 🌊
