1) administrative Secretary :
MMC group is a dynamic company, based in Piraeus, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Secretary to support our office. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication and multitasking skills. This role involves performing a variety of administrative tasks, including managing communications, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records, to support our activities and ensure smooth office operations.
Key responsibilities:
Office organization, planning, and arranging daily obligations.
Handling correspondence.
Managing both internal and external communications with clients and colleagues.
Managing schedules and calendars.
Assisting with project and event coordination.
Meeting preparation and support.
Travel arrangements.
Managing documents and data.
Conducting market research.
Managing office supplies.
Assisting with basic financial tasks and expenses.
Handling sensitive information with discretion.
Take care of CEO office
Receiving adequately any guest
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
Experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
High level of organizational and time management skills
Proficient in MS Office applications and computer use.
Problem-solving ability and responsibility.
Flexibility and adaptability in demanding situations.
Knowledge of trading or the specific industry sector is a plus.
Fluent in English, Greek, Arabic and French. Any other language is an advantage.
2) in house lawyer :
MMC Group, a dynamic group of companies headquartered in Piraeus, is engaged, among other activities in ship management, vessel chartering, commodities trade, sales & purchase of ships, claims management from seafarers on board ships, flag states registries & STCW.
We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled and organized internal lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple legal tasks efficiently.
Role Overview:
The internal lawyer will be responsible for addressing legal matters across the group companies and providing expert consultation to the management team. Key duties will include:
• Handling day-to-day corporate legal matters such as company legitimizations, drafting corporate body resolutions etc.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts with third party clients and suppliers.
• Providing legal advice on various topics including corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, property leasing etc.
• Handling and addressing legal issues relating to maritime/shipping law.
• Managing and resolving legal matters in transportation law.
• General legal support for the departments of our Group.
• Coordinating meetings and maintaining accurate records to support office operations and ensure smooth organizational workflows.
Required Qualifications:
• Law degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree (LLM or equivalent) in fields of maritime/shipping law.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent command of MS Office and general computer applications.
• Problem-solving mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle demanding situations.
• Knowledge of trading or experience in the relevant industry is an advantage.
• Excellent command (written and oral) of English (additional proficiency in French or Portuguese is a plus).
