Foster stared in disbelief, watching his old friend unexpectedly enter the room, make his way to the front row, and sit down as the lecture began. Afterwards, the two stayed behind, shared stories of their youth, and realized, despite the divergence of their lives, how much they had been shaped and influenced by those past experiences. They ended the evening promising to create new stories together, and their renewed friendship endured until the end of their days.
