Recently, I was posed the same question, on the same day, by two different individuals; "So, you're telling me, people do all that for their kids?"
Long answer short - ππ‘π π©ππ«ππ§ππ¬ π°π‘π¨ π ππ π’π π ππ π’π!
Toy package, book package, entertainment kits, doll and stroller, 100 piece magnetic tiles, and a water table for two beautiful little girls, who will get to enjoy St. Lucia, even more, for the next few days.

From packing strollers to ensuring a familiar sleep environment, navigating the world with little ones requires careful planning. However, even with a master plan, carrying all the necessary gear can be impractical, especially on longer journeys.
When moms are unable to obtain a crucial item for their baby, a cascade of challenges unfold, impacting both the mother and the child. These challenges can be emotionally and practically daunting, emphasizing the importance of accessibility to essential baby items.
Essential baby items are often integral to a smooth daily routine. Lack of access disrupts established schedules, leading to challenges in feeding, sleeping, and overall caregiving.
In some cases, the unavailability of a necessary item can restrict the mother's ability to move freely with the baby. This limitation hinders daily activities and can be isolating, affecting both the mother's and baby's social experiences.
The cumulative effect of these challenges can take a toll on the mental well-being of the mother. Feelings of guilt, helplessness, and frustration may arise, impacting the overall family dynamic.
This is why we do what we do! Whether it's a rental or an urgent purchase, when moms call upon us during their stay in beautiful St. Lucia, we always deliver.

Who knew that traveling with a tiny human came with an extra side of circus-level logistics? πͺ After one too many epic battles with car seats and bedding, I had an epiphany: "Why isn't there a superhero sidekick for parents on the move?" π‘
And so, drumroll please... I birthed the idea of The Happy Nest! πΌπ Imagine a world where you don't need a forklift for your baby gearβjust a simple click, rent, and voilΓ ! β¨
I wasn't alone in this struggle; turns out, there's a whole tribe of parents ready to break free from baby gear tyranny. So here we are, folks, making family travel a smooth ride, one rented gear at a time! πβοΈ

My daughter's first airplane ride was at 7 months old. Since then, we've been to 5 destinations with trips ranging from 1 week to 2 months. Together, We've garnered many wonderful experiences, but We've also had to stomach unfortunate situations. Epecially pertaining to the comfort and needs of my then baby, now toddler.
One ofΒ the most frustrating situations is having to travel with a child under 2, who does not qualify for neither a carry on or a luggage. Considering the number of times a child needs to be changed per day (both diapers and clothes), kept safe and pampered throughout their waking hours, this has always left me with no option other than to pay for extra luggage, both to and from the destination. Having kids entertained during travel to have some alone time, date night or to even enjoy the experience is another story all together. Vacations are to be enjoyed. Rightfully so for both parents and kids.
My experiences planted a seed which has now produced a fruit; The Happy Nest.
The Happy Nest aims to make the experiences of vacationers and visitors with children more peaceful, purposeful and enjoyable.
We provide a range of services from babysitting to nanny to baby gear rental, toy rental and travel activity kits.

Nothing's as sweet as clean sheets and a comfortable bed π―
Regular detergents are technically safe for all family members, but babies and smaller children tend to have more sensitive skin than adults. Itβs reported that atleast 10 percent of children in the United States have eczema, and a third of those cases are said to be moderate to severe. Taking this and alot more into consideration, we use ONLY gentle and environmentally friendly products. Our favourite being Dr. Bronners Castile Soap, made from mostly natural & organic ingredients. We're using this peppermint castile soap to wash our already clean sheets in preparation for a little princess.
