Maybe you want to stay close to the harbour , and do something chill such as spending a few hours at a nice beach ?Then Vigie beach is the beach for you .This beach is found in Castries and is a 10 minute walk from the harbour.I don’t recommend walking because there isn’t much shade along the way ! #ansecochon #coupleswhotravel One of the BESt beaches in St.Lucia in my opinion as a local !It’s cleanThe visibility is superb There are reefs for great diving and snorkeling Not too far from Marigot bay , Gros Islet or Soufriere !To get to the this beach you need to pass through a short 2 minute trail . Or you can get access by parking at the hotel in the location , but this comes with a fee ..Since the area is predominately unspoiled , the only houses there belong to the resort it normally uncrowded which makes it great for relaxing ..#ansecochon has silver / black sand which can get hot during the sunnier part of the day so beach shoes are recommend ..Also bring mosquito repellant and reef friendly sunscreen! Carry snacks if you do not wish to purchase food from the resort . You can carry some towels to lay on or pay for beach chairs .Best ways to get there is with a local guide like myself via a vehicle that isn’t low or via water taxi .

Part of the beauty of our island is the rainforest ! The diversity in the plants and colors , the sounds of the animals and the different fruits really have a way of making you feel happy !I absolutely love going into the forest on a nice sunny day because that’s when the colors of all the plants get brighter …Far less when there is a river near by .. ! Sabwisha beach in the south west of St.Lucia is a perfect example of a beach where you can go to if the beach next to your hotel is crowded…. If you’re a beach lover and you have time on your vacation …. Consider hiring a local stlucian tour guide to take you someplace pretty that you’ll enjoy . Don’t feel stuck to your hotel’s beach because your are not ! ❤️❤️
