Our Story

Treasure Tours Ltd. was formed in 2003 and is owned and managed by a vibrant, nature lover; Charkar Attie-Louis from the world renowned town of Soufriere, St. Lucia. The company started by me, (Charkar Attie-Louis) simply operating rainforest hikes for the popular, Ti Kaye Village Resort while working as a free lance tour guide at the Diamond Botanical Gardens and Waterfall in Soufriere. During that time, I also worked for St. Lucia’s two biggest cruise ship companies, doing tours in both French and English around the island of St. Lucia!

My zeal for learning, knowledge and passion for tour guiding, meeting different people around the world, along with the motivation of unemployed family members and youth in community, pushed me to expand the rainforest hike tours to a bigger business. It was many years of struggle and most times, I could not see my way through. I kept trusting God for the best and praying that one day it will get better.

I then ventured out to hotels/resorts as I pursued my dream of helping create employment for family and community members. Although it was a challenge to get through with the bigger resorts/ hotels, I thank God for the opportunity he gave to work with a few small resorts. I also cater to cruise ship visitors coming to St. Lucia, providing packaged and customized tours.

When your passion becomes your career, it never feels like work! It is always a pleasure being out there. With me, everyone is treated as a VIP! We value our customers and want to ensure everyone gets great value for their money! Throughout the years of tour guiding there has been precious moments to remember from family tours, to touring Caribbean Diplomats, The Princess of Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister of Barbados, Mr. Bono of U2, being the tour guide for Dolce Vita Productions volcano tour and mud bath video production, Chosen tour guide for Princess Cruise line interview explaining St. Lucia’s natural beauty and the importance of the pitons to us, also guide for Mr. Christopher Mu**er of Boston Globe Magazine along with many wonderful people around the world I have met not forgetting the Morency Family of USA, the Tardiff family, Ellaine Roberts and many more too numerous to mention! ……….
