eservation provides over 500 Hectares of hiking, wildlife and birdwatching with an untainted mountain range, pristine waterfalls and natural rock pools. Any weary traveler seeking respite to recharge the spiritual batteries can take a short trek from the bungalow to a forgotten rock cave, which for many decades or perhaps even centuries was used by Monastic Monks to achieve spiritual awareness and renounce their worldly pursuits. Any guest seeking to achieve a further sense of calm and re-center themselves can visit the famed Forest Hermitage known as Nissarana Wanaya, which is well known for its meditation techniques and spiritual guidance. Spyglass has two large spacious rooms “Yaanik & Jayden” with ensuite bathrooms, high ceilings and French glass windows that allow the cool mountain breeze to flow through the rooms. Each room can sleep a maximum of three people with king size beds and a divan for each room. The observation deck of the Spyglass faces out over the Kirindiwela mountain range providing a breath taking view, fresh mountain air and the ultimate setting for you to relax and recuperate. The bungalow is well equipped with the required modern facilities to allow all guests to experience a private and reclusive holiday. This includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, built in gas cooker enabling the option of preparing food at their own convenience (if they wish to do so) and all cutlery/crockery. The bungalows water supply is directly fed from a natural underground spring providing a clean and sustainable supply. Food:
Guests are invited to indulge themselves with the local village style recipes and tantalizing tastes that can be provided to them by the Spyglass. The simplistic combinations coupled with the natural and organic ingredients will leave the palette tantalized in awe of the rich flavors and aromas (rates provided below).
