Expansive gardens form an integral part of the Estate’s offerings with the premises often used by acclaimed writers and local film directors as a base for bringing to life their work. The Uyanwatta Estate features 4 rooms that are both inviting and airy and provide for excellent ways to get away from it all, where time can also be spent reading and planning your day’s activities. Each room is well furnished and fully air conditioned with 2 of the units consisting of an attached bathroom. Guests will be pleased to note that the Estate has access to a separate dining area where succulent and aromatic Sri Lankan cuisine is prepared and served in a traditional manner.

Found approximately 35 km from Colombo and a further 2 km from the Southern Expressway exit, the Uyanwatta Estate which borders the glistening waters of the Uyanwatta Lake caters to those who require a peaceful and relaxed getaway, surrounded by the warmth and beauty of the glorious outdoors.

A well laid out living area, complete with comfy chairs & sofas and wooden décor is available at your beck and call whilst you may also access our Cable TV facility whenever you feel the need to leave the cosy ambience of your room. Further, the option of enjoying a BBQ alongside the Uyanwatta Lake by evening is readily provided. In turn, the Estate’s cook is well versed in the art of traditional meal preparation and thus guests will be able to customize menus to suit varying palates and preferences. Also, residents can partake in some ‘Sheesha’ which will come across as an excellent means of settling into your holiday with us
