Today, we wrapped up our epic Sri Lankan foodie tour with the Masterchef Judges in the bustling streets of Colombo!
After a scenic drive and a rejuvenating coffee break at the picturesque Lunuganga, we dove into the heart of Colombo's vibrant culinary scene.
Highlight of the day? A meet and greet with the legendary Darshana Munidasa at Ministry of Crab! These MasterChef maestros got their hands dirty (literally!), experiencing firsthand why Sri Lankan crabs are a world-famous delicacy.
Day 4 of our takes us to the vibrant Galle Fish Market early this morning! The buzz and the fresh catch set the perfect tone for the day.
Lunch at the charming Atapattu Walawwa offered us a delightful dive into traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and flavors that tell tales of heritage and heart.
As the sun dipped low, we unwound at Smoke & Bitters with inventive cocktails and a sumptuous dinner that fused the best of land and sea.

Day 4 - A Cultural Exploration in #Sigiriya Our day began with an early morning climb up the famous Sigiriya rock. We then visited the peaceful village of Hiriwaduna for a scenic walk along the “bund” of a man-made reservoir and a catamaran ride across the nearby river to visit a Chena cultivation. We also enjoyed a flavorful Sri Lankan lunch in a humble farmer’s hut. An unmistakable, large ground bird. The blue male spreads out it's ornamental upper tail feathers when courting females. Females have a shorter tail, an iridescent green neck, and browner plumage.
