Hier unter dem Zimtbaum, dem Geschmack von frisch gebrühtem Kaffee mit unserer eigens hergestellten, cremigen Kokosnussmilch auf der Zunge und dem Muhen der mächtigen Büffel in den Ohren, komme ich das erste Mal richtig an. Sri Lanka war für mich keine Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Am Strand war es mir zu wuselig und zu heiss. Hinzu kam, dass wohl mein Körper hier gelandet war, meine Seele aber noch immer auf Bali verweilte. Der Insel, die ich wie Tenerife damals schon beim Landeanflug mitten ins Herz schloss.

Ich bin es nicht mehr gewohnt, so oft die Umgebung zu wechseln. Mein Nervensystem braucht unglaublich viel Ruhe und ich meine Oasen mitten im Grünen mit Weitblick, um zu schreiben - und mich damit zu sortieren.

Als wir Punchi Doowa im Internet fanden war uns klar, dass dieses Haus umgeben von sumpfiger Wildniss der Ort sein würde, an dem wir beide finden, was für uns wirklicher Luxus bedeutete: Ruhe, barfuss durch den Garten schlendern, die Blätter direkt vom Zimtbaum naschen, die frische Büffelmilch beim Bauern holen und mit allem, was die direkte Umgebung hergibt, ein dampfendes Gericht voller Liebe kochen. An Orten wie diesen läuft unsere Kreativität auf Hochtouren und zerfliesst in die perfekte Symbiose aus Zukunftsträumerei und des im Moment seins.

Einmal mehr darf ich feststellen, dass um glücklich zu sein ich nicht mehr, sondern weniger brauche. Weitblick, Ruhe, Natürlichkeit. Zurück zum Ursprung - und damit zu mir. Danke. 🙏🏻💫

Very grateful these days ❤️

Since last Sunday one of my best friends from Germany is traveling with us across Sri Lanka. So happy to share our life with him.

His first ever long haul flight, exploring a new culture and just giving all those dopamine receptors a break.

It's weird to say, but we adjusted to the nomad lifestyle a bit after the past 1,5 years. Many things don't flash us tooo much anymore and we rather find magic in random moments alone or in encounters with a stranger.

Seeing him experience this world makes me light up too.

Happy we can enjoy even 7 more days together.

Najbardziej znana miejscówka w Mirissie. By mieć ją na wyłączność trzeba trochę pokombinować - co Was będę czarować. Nie jest to jednak trudne. Największe wyzwanie stanowi pora pobudki - wraz z kurami, później idzie z górki😜

Chociaż najpierw..pod górkę i to po omacku, bo na wzgórze trzeba się wdrapać najlepiej jeszcze po ciemku lub tuz po wschodzie słońca ☀️

Warto😍 Miejsce jest piękne.

Ale uwaga!
Poza spadającymi kokosami można natrafić na lepkie ręce. Specjalizują się w białych kaskach z szybką także noo.. kaski przy d*pie😅

Yala National Park in Sri Lanka has the highest leopard population.. Our jeep was extremely fortunate to be on this road in the right time.. It was honestly one of the most AAAAMAZING wildlife encounters I have ever had! 🐾😲🚙
