format. Shifting gears we boldly ventured into experimenting with the art of projection mapping. Within the first year, Cyber Illusions was able to build and execute many projection shows on architectural heritage sites in Sri Lanka. All this was done with limited technical resources and unlimited passion for doing what we loved. Soon, we found ourselves producing some of the biggest and most complex audio visual productions in the island. Today, our team applies innovative thinking and state of the art techniques to merge video, light, sound, interactivity and scenic design to deliver extraordinary experiences. Our work has taken us beyond the island and enabled us to acquire the expertise in managing projects anywhere in the world. We believe that a good experience is a culmination of multiple sensory stimuli; working in perfect harmony. We are dedicated to find and deliver this perfect harmony with everything we do.

The Interface project sees longtime collaborators Lalindra Amarasekara, Asvajit Boyle and Nigel Perera envisioning a hypothetical operating system designed for creative exchange. This distillation and abstraction of UI/UX design serves as a framework for an audio-visual performance encompassing real-time generative visuals, live coding and a presentation of specially composed electronic music.

Its first incarnation, version 1.0, was developed as a reaction to the ongoing retreat of the performing arts into the digital space. Interface explores the intersection between technology and art as well as the potential for meaningful expression in the virtual world.

The Visual Art and Experiences Group (VAEG) is stoked and privileged to have conceptualised and produced the infamous cinematic experience of Kuweni – Live in Concert.

The team worked closely with the visionary Charitha and his multi-talented band; engaging a series of artists and technologists to realise each scenic element of the show.

Weeks of meticulous planning went into maximizing the usage of the venue, designing a visual canvas for best experience, band placement, narrative lighting plots and artful visual content design.

A music video inspired by the song “Dura Akahe” by Charitha Raksh*tha Attalage and Ravi Jay. Intended to be a promotion for a live concert by the Artistes; the Visual Art and Experiences Group envisioned the video as a part of the live performance itself.

Projection mapping and synchronized light programming was used to immerse the performers in scenes that reflected the lyrics of the song. Concepts of distance, separation, time and space was imagined in this production.

For the launch of the 2016 E-Class by the Dimo Mercedes Benz Centre, we developed an interactive experience for guests to browse through all available features on offer. Our story begins in 2011; in a small but, beautiful island called Sri Lanka. We were a team who came together from diverse backgrounds, who wanted to build websites and content for the online space.
