Sri Lanka's true heritage is still preserved in its picturesque villages where rural craft artisan communities have stayed true to their ancestral livelihoods for centuries. When you purchase authentic Sri Lankan products from 'Urban Island Home', you will not only be taking the essence of Sri Lanka home, but will also be empowering local artisans to continue their traditional livelihoods. This is

a not-for-profit initiative of the 'Design for Sustainable Development' Foundation supported by the AOD International Design Campus, with the aim of preserving Sri Lanka's craft heritage and uplifting artisan lives across the island. Our dedicated store is at 33 Duplication Road, R.A de Mel Mawatha, Colombo 04. We are open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6.30pm (Closed on Sundays and Poya Holidays).
