💙 Sri Lanka’s first underwater museum in Galle 🇱🇰

This underwater museum was built off the Galle shores under the close supervision of the Navy Commander by the Navy.

The museum is consisted of many antiques, archeological items,left overs of sunk ships and a project driven by SL Navy in order to conserve coral reefs.The expected outcome of this overall project is to marine conservation and to build up career opportunities in sea surfing by enhancing the attraction of tourists.
As we reach another milestone in marine conservation, it will be our responsibility to protect it for the next generation as well.

If you’re a marine fan, you surely need to explore this beautiful and mind blowing place very soon.

Paying a visit to the artistic temple.

Dambulla Cave Temple is also known as the Golden Temple in Dambulla. This is situated in the Matala District and is close to Sigiriya (takes 2 hours). The specialty of the temple is the artistic paintings that is constructed during the king's era. During that era the temple was used especially to reserve the painting of royal artists in to their devotion towards the believing religion. The temple is built under a rock with five caves that consist of statutes of Lords being worship, the divine king, The great kings and the new monastery.

It's a hiking journey towards the top of the temple but once reached the magical views takes your breathe away.

Travelling towards the down south.

Kiri-vehara situated in the area of Katargama that is worshipped by both Buddhist and Hindu. Kiri-vehara is very famous by the month of July where as for the occasion of perhara.

As you can see down below the Elephant guarded of the Kiri-vihara usually come twice a day as to worship as its rituals.

The drive through to Hikka.
The enroute from the busy city of Colombo passing by the Religious Kalutara Bodiya Temple to the coastal Bentota and finally reaching the destination of the Gorgeous Hikkauwa. It takes only 1h 54 minutes drive via through South Express Highway or approximately 2h 30 minutes taking the Bentota road.

The adventure part of travelling through the Bentato route is by gazing the ancient Kalutara Bodiya Temple hearing the rush of prayers as you pass by. Stopping by the spectacular beach of Bentota where you can see the Lord Buddha’s Statue on the coast and the floating Bentota Lighthouse island by the sea. Meanwhile Bentota is famous for the beach and dry fish harvest. You can see the busy fishermen during the morning laying fresh fish to dry in the hot sun and in the evenings the people get together for activities and relaxation.

Nalanda Gedige also known as The Anicent Stone Temple that is situated near the Matale District, Sri Lanka
It was built during the 8th and 10th century that believed to be worshipped both Buddhist and Hindu devotees.
The speciality about the temple is for it greenery location. It is located exactly at the centre point of Sri Lanka but as for the advancement of technology and modern irrigation construction it has shifted away from its original point.
Historians and archeologist believe that this spectacular monument is identified as the Star Gates that has link with King Ravana (The mythological king).
Nalanda Gedige is very eco friendly with preserved anicent memorial that takes back to the past history and is peaceful to explore the nature beauty of the temple.
