Basekamp is an accommodation site is for the adventure traveler, who wants to be up close and personal with the cloud forest environment. The location offers breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding mountains. If you are prepared to enjoy the high altitude, cloud forest conditions, it is a wonderful experience you cannot get anywhere else in Sri Lanka. (refer Google maps) After turning off from

World's end-Nuwaraeliya main road, theres a 3 kms of dirt road to drive. For this part a vehicle with high ground clearance is essential. The last 500 meters of the access road is 4wd only. (Steep incline). If you arrive in a 2wd vehicle you'll have to walk the last 500 meteres. However if this is difficult we can arrange a 4wd vehicle at a small cost for your convenience.
