Loosely translated in Spanish, Casa MiJa means ‘my daughter’s home’. Our parents built this home

to create a home away from home for guests like you. So, my sister (Miya) and I (Jade) welcome you to our home and this little slice of paradise. We have been welcoming guests since 2014 and have been blessed to have had families, groups of friends and couples from across the globe trust us with their moments of rest and rejuvenation. For some of you, this is the vacation you have been waiting for; a time to unplug, a time to reconnect & a time to make new memories. Located five minutes from Mirissa & 40km from Galle. It is blessed with an amazing beach, private pool and in-house concierge. The residence can be rented as a complete villa or by individual rooms. We have 5 different room configurations and can sleep 17 people in beds comfortably. Each room is named after a town or village in the neighbouring area and has been curated to serve a different type of guest. From the larger family lofts to the more intimate Weligama Suite, Casa MiJa has something for everyone. Located on the southern tip of Sri Lanka, Casa MiJa is located in between Mirissa and the township of Matara. Blessed with modern infrastructure in Matara, guests can still experience local life through food, the sea and local attractions. During your stay, you will be looked after by Kawshika & Ajantha. They are accountable for your experiences; from the day-2-day meals, housekeeping, helping you organize groceries, tuk-tuks et al, they are there to assist. They have grown up in the area, so they know their way around and have been with us from Day 1. The team will be visible during the day in order to respond to your requests but if you feel you need a little more space, please let them know. They have their own private residence on the property & you can call out to them if you need anything. Casa Mija provides a unique opportunity for you to create new experiences with your friends and loved ones. We have curated a spacious, relaxing environment where you can spend the hours disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with those that matter.

We have been so blessed to welcome guests in December, January and February. We are fully booked from the start of March for three weeks. Our guests have visited from Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, UK, Israel, France, Canada not forgetting Sri Lanka. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of looking after you during your stay.
