🇱🇰Known for its rich natural heritage and picturesque landscapes, Sri Lanka is an ideal destination for an exciting river safari. The island has many rivers, lakes, swamps and reservoirs, which are abundantly filled with animals and birds, making a river safari a truly unforgettable adventure!🛶In Sri Lanka, you can take part in exciting boat excursions on the river, so-called boat safari or river safari. The most interesting rivers in this regard are the Bentota Ganga, Madu Ganga and Kalu Ganga. All rivers and their banks are home to quite a lot of different living creatures - monitor lizards, crocodiles, small species of monkeys. The most common birds are the kingfisher and heron, and much less frequently - the great ash-owl. The banks of the rivers are covered with mangroves, among which there are many channels. Making your way through them by boat, under the arches of intertwined mangroves, you get the impression that you are in a fairy-tale forest, far from civilization.🦜Another amazing waterway experience in Sri Lanka includes a river safari in Udawalawe National Park, located near the town of Ela. This park is famous for its abundance of elephants, which can often be seen bathing or grazing on the banks of the Udawalawe River. Apart from elephants, it is home to a large number of birds such as Pekin ducks, spotted-necked bulbuls and many others.🦎Organized river safaris in Sri Lanka include excursions on special boats that allow travelers to observe wildlife in all its glory. Experienced guides accompany the group and make interesting comments about the flora and fauna, adding interaction and knowledge to this exciting experience. Boats are often equipped with binoculars and cameras so travelers can capture every moment of their adventure.🤩Whether you're a nature lover, a birder, or simply looking for a unique adventure, a river safari in Sri Lanka will leave you amazed and perplexed by the richness of its natural world. This is an unforgettab
