Sri Lanka - Colombo Airport (BIA) PCR procedure

AASL- Hospinorm PCR Laboratory Lounge at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake on 23rd Sep 2021. PCR tests will be conducted at this laboratory for travelers coming to Sri Lanka from 25th Sep 2021. The facility has a capacity of conducting 500 PCR tests per hour, with a total of 7000 tests during the course of one day. The lab Saied, a PCR test report can issue in as little as three hours. Fully vaccinated travelers who receive a negative PCR test result at the facility will be permitted to immediately enter the country, without being subjected to mandatory quarantine. The lab charges $ 40 for a PCR test for travelers. The PCR testing facility has been established at the airport to end the mandatory hotel quarantine process which was earlier introduced by the Government.
