Rented a car for 10 days to travel around Sri Lanka.
The car was Toyota Prius - it's not new, but it's hybrid - so fuel usage is low. And overall very comfortable car.
Personal was very kind and helpful. Good English, very detailed info and instruction.
About driving car in Sri Lanka: it's possible, but very high traffic and very chaotic. But if you have driving experience in big cities - you'll handle it :)

Great Experience with NVLS TOUR

I rented a car from NVLS TOUR for 10 days. We are four, me, my wife and my two kids. I drove myself and covered more than 13,00 km starting Colombo, then Kandy, Dambula, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Tangalle, Mirrisa, Gale etc. I also drove the most scenic and dangerous road called 18 Bend Roads in Mahiyangana with this small car. The entire trip was awesome.

This car became a part and parcel of our family. We didn’t face any problem during our journey. But one thinks I should mention one person’s name Mr. Raj. He is the owner of NVLS Tour. He tremendously helped even before my coming to Sri Lanka. I had a IDP (International Driving Permit) even after I had to get a special permit from Sri Lankan Transport Authority which Mr. Raj applied on my behalf before my coming and even, he paid the fees as well. Normally it is rare. Thanks a lot Raj for your tremendous support. I’m 100% happy about the services of NVLS tour. If I come again definitely, I will knock Mr. Raj.

We rented a car for nearly a month. We were pleased by a very good communication, helpfulness and reliability. The car was fine, too. At the end everything worked out as planned and expected. Thank you very much.

Btw driving in Sri Lanka can be quite stressful so only consider car for self-driving if you're experienced driver and drive on the left side at home.

This service saved our vacation; in February 2022, when we arrived in Sri Lanka, it turned out that there were no cars for rent, and we also needed a local license!!! When we asked for a car, they provided it to us the next day, and they also gave us a license! -1 for an old car, as well as for mileage restrictions. But overall, thank you for the service provided! I definitely recommend it if they update their car park!

Данный сервис спас наш отпуск, в феврале 2022 приехав на Шри-Ланку оказалось, что машин в аренду нет, а ещё нужны местные права!!! Обратившись за машино, нам предоставили ее на следующий день, а так же сделали права! -1 за старенький автомобиль, а так же, за ограничение по пробегу. Но в общем спасибо за предоставленную услугу! Советую однозначно, если обновят парк машин!

I and my partner rented a car from Nvl's tour for 10 days to explore Sri lanka through its famous route.
We ve enjoyed the road trip and I do suggest it as we could see everywhere we wanted by our car and as we planned.
One of the most important reasons that made this easy for us was great service of Nvl's. We arraged the car, got the AA license and recieved the car in the airport without any prepayment, on time and in the best condition. We should thank Raj for his great support and hope to visit Sri lanka and use Nvl's tour services again.

Брали машину Suzuki Wagon на 8 дней. Стоимость аренды более чем приятная, Страховка включена. Дополнительно помогли сделать местное разрешение на управление автомобилем. Машина в хорошем состоянии, проезжала в весьма экстремальных условиях. Владелец всегда на связи и, в случае необходимости, готов помочь в сложных ситуациях в любое время, даже ночью. Будем снова на Шри-Ланке, снова возьму машину у этого прокатчика

We rented a Suzuki Wagon for 8 days. The rental price is more than reasonable, insurance is included. Additionally, they helped us get a local driving license. The car is in good condition and has been driven in very extreme conditions. The owner is always in touch and, if necessary, is ready to help in difficult situations at any time, even at night. We'll be in Sri Lanka again, I'll rent a car from this rental company again

I rented a small car (Suzuki Spacia) from NVLS tours for a period of 10 days during my last visit to Sri Lanka. We received the car as shown in photos and everything was explained very well by their manager Mr. Raj. Their prices are fair and the process in relation to receiving and handing over the car was smooth. I will definitely rent again from NVLS tours on my next visit and has no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We went from Colombo to Sigiriya. We had a safe driver, he chose a nice stop for breakfast and gave us all the information we needed.

He was supposed to drop us off at a trainstation. But train was striking for days. So he drove us all the way to Kandy! We were really grateful for that.

Van was in good condition. I can recommend it

My husband and I visited Sri Lanka in July 2017 and loved every minute of it. So much variety - historic beauty and wonderment, stunning nature, especially loved seeing an elephant grazing at the side of the open road (!!!), stunning beaches and the people are so friendly and gorgeous. Our highlights were the UNESCO World Heritage Triangle, Sigiriya in particular and the Minneriya National Park. Oh and the food is amazing.

We hired a private driver, Viraj, through NVL Tour and had a great time. Our driver was very knowledgable and showed us around many things we wouldn't otherwise see as a tourist. And Raj was fantastic at helping to guide and prepare our itinerary for us. We felt safe with Viraj's driving, but didn't like travelling at night where street lights are virtually non existent and driving is crazy at the best of times ;). The airconditioning unit in our car stopped working, so we took it around 3 workshops until we found one that could repair it on the spot for us - all part of the experience.

Highly recommend NVL Tour. Highly recommend Sri Lanka.

We was group of 8 adults and make 6-days tour from Colombo to Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Elia, Yala National park and Galle.
Driver was careful and he made our journey safe and stress free. Everyday we traveled to new city and saw all attractions on the road. There was free WiFi module in our minibus.
Cleanliness in bus was good.
Everything in our journey was fine, so I can recommend NVLS Tour for your safe and funny tour in Sri Lanka on very reasonable price.

Had a tour mapped by NVLS which covered all the attractions and some local events that I wanted to participate in. The Driver Piyal went above and beyond driving needs and helped out so that we could have an enjoyable vacation. The hotels booked were pretty good and we had an enjoyable week visiting a lot of attractions. Raj was reachable throughout the vacation for questions/help with items.

My husband and I arranged a 7-day trip around Sri Lanka in Dec. 2017 for 30 foreigners with Mr. Raj's travel company. From the very beginning, Mr. Raj was extremely helpful, diligent and super-easy to work with. I could call/email him anytime and he would respond very quickly and organized the trip with great attention to detail. He made sure we covered the route that I had planned with all the hotels that I wanted. We had to book some 15 rooms at each hotel and Mr. Raj took care of everything. He arranged the bus and provided a responsible driver as well as a charming tour guide, Mr. Roshan. All our friends got on very well with Mr. Roshan and he did his very best to accommodate all the changes we required. We all enjoyed our trip immensely and everything went so smoothly. The cost per person was very reasonable as well. Thank you so much for the great service! We highly recommend using Mr. Raj's business.
