Saudi Arabia Travel Restrictions

1. Passengers are not allowed to enter.
-This does not apply to:
- nationals of Saudi Arabia;
- first degree family members of nationals of Saudi Arabia;
- nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. They must not have transited through or been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days;
- residents of Saudi Arabia. They must not have transited through or been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days in the past 14 days;
- passengers with an exit/entry, work, residence or visit visa issued by Saudi Arabia (tourist visa are not accepted). They must not have transited through or have been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days;
- domestic workers of nationals of Saudi Arabia. They must be accompanied by the sponsor;
- domestic workers of nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. They must be accompanied by the sponsor or one of the first degree family members of the sponsor. They must not have transited through or have been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 daysin the past 14 days.
2. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Saudi Arabia.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Saudi Arabia;
- passengers younger than 8 years.
3.Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating that they received the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival must complete "The registration immunization information form found at https://muqeem.sa/ #?vaccine-registration/home
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Saudi Arabia;
- first degree family members of nationals of Saudi Arabia. They must be traveling together;
- nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. They must not have transited through or been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days in the past 14 days;
- residents of Saudi Arabia. They must not have transited through or been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days in the past 14 days;
- passengers with an exit/entry, work, residence or visit visa issued by Saudi Arabia (tourist visa are not accepted). They must not have transited through or have been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days;
- domestic workers of nationals of Saudi Arabia. They must be accompanied by the sponsor;
- domestic workers of nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. They must be accompanied by the sponsor or one of the first degree family members of the sponsor. They must not have transited through or have been in Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa or Turkey in the past 14 days in the past 14 days.
4. Passengers must complete a 'Health Disclaimer Form' and present it upon arrival.
5. Passengers must have medical insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses.
- This does not apply to nationals and residents of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
6. Passengers could be subject to quarantine. Quarantine packages must be obtained from the transporting carrier.
- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating that they received:
- the second vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria) at least 14 days before arrival; or
- the single vaccine dose of the Janssen at least 14 days before arrival; or
- the second vaccine dose of Moderna at least 14 days before arrival; or
- the second vaccine dose of Pfizer-BioNTech at least 14 days before arrival.
7. Airline crew are subject to quarantine until their next flight.
8. Suspension of visa on arrival facilities.
9. Suspension of e-visa issuance.
