Global Ceylon Tea Party 2017

Celebrating 150 years of Ceylon Tea with KDU Group and Tea Jar Tea remains the primary focus of the KDU Group, with eight state-of-the-art factories in the Sabaragamuwa Province contributing to 12 million kilograms of premium quality tea per year. The KDU Group is the largest tea manufacturers in the country, contributing to 6% of the country’s low grown tea production and nearly 4% of the national tea production. Retaining the highest sales achievements at the Colombo Tea Auction for a period of 20 years. The Galpaditenne Tea Factory, enabled it to efficiently produce over 4 million kilograms of tea annually, making it the world’s largest orthodox black tea manufacturing factory.
