It is a perfect place to stay for your whole holiday, a good base to explore the South of Srí Lanka, as well as a stopover on your round-trip. You walk only 300m through beautiful nature from your doorstep to the water’s edge
on the beach, to a natural rock pool which is the safest swimming place nearby. We are 4km from Tangalle city, in the outskirts village of Marakolliya – Kapuhenwala, where the lagoon meets the ocean and the nature reserve starts. You feel the ocean wind, hear the waves and the jungle sounds, spot turtles and uncountable species of colourful birds, you are free to enjoy nature and explore the local culture. We are happy to give you information, support organising your trips and activities, arrange your airport pickup and drop, prepare fresh seafood and local specialities as well as western snacks and real coffee, or let you chill in a hammock with juice and enjoy your time. Especially during low-season it is practical for both you and us to make appointments, you might not see us open, even though we are here.
