Day 1: Arrive in Sri Lanka and check in to resort and have a sumptuous lunch. Rest, relax and let your soul embrace the serenity in abundance. Take a dip in the Rock-lined pool and let your travel woos disappear. Enjoy a bonfire dinner on the Rock-lined Pool Terrace. Sleep like a baby to the tune of water streams.
Day 2: Breakfast on bed or Peellaside Restaurant watching the mountains and the river. Pickleball Play Day #1 - 8am- 12 noon.
Walk to Pahan Thudawa Water Falls and Gorge. Dinner - BBQ at the river.
Day 3: Pickleball Play Day #2 - from 8am- 12 noon. Enjoy a natural fish therapy on the virgin river Belihuloya. Enjoy a traditional full body massage. (pre-registration required, limited spots). Pickleball camp for school children - 4 – 7 pm - guests are welcome to join as volunteer instructors.
Day 4: Experience the History and Traditions of Sri Lanka. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (https://sigiriyafortress.com/) and visit the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy (https://sridaladamaligawa.lk/video-gallery/) – Whole day tour - leaving early morning and returning in the evening.
Day 5: Breakfast on Rock-lined Pool Terrace. Pickleball Play Day #3 - 8am-noon. Enjoy a traditional full body massage (pre-registration required, limited spots). Pickleball open camp - 4- 7pm - guests are welcome to join as volunteer instructors.
Day 6: Healing elevated - Meditation session (pre-registration required, limited spots). Pickleball Play Day #4 - 8am- 12 noon. Gem and Jewellery Tour after lunch - Experience how the world’s best precious stones are prospected in a traditional gem mine. Pick your own birth stone! Pickleball Camp for Women over 40 - 4-6pm.
Day 7: Early breakfast and leave by 7 am to catch the best sceneries from Lipton Seat, Haputale. (https://destinationlesstravel.com/lipton-seat-sri-lanka/) . Tea Plantation tour, Dambetenna, buy the best of the Ceylon teas. Pickleball Play Day #5 – 3 pm – 7 pm
Kamatha (Rice field thrashing floor) dinner with bonfire.
Day 8: Leaving for Southern Beaches and Elephants. Eth Athuru Sevana Elephant orphanage visit. Elephant watching safari inside Udawalawa National Park. Head down to the beach - Relax on the beaches of Indian Ocean and enjoy fresh seafood at your heart’s desire.
Day 9 : Leave the beach hotel after breakfast. Culinary experience with choice of different foods at One Galle Face Food Court
Head to the airport and departure to US.
Included in the full package:
- Air tickets from Kansas City back to Kansas City all provided economic class tickets.
- Stay in Sri Lanka 6 rooms allocated (12 persons stay on double basis - 2 per room)
- 8 night stay full board (three meals per day and unlimited alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including tea coffee all day)
