Our Story
Our company is named Lesotho Eco-tourism Tours and Adventures which is abbreviated to Le-e-to Tours and Adventures. The word Leeto is a Sesotho word which means “travel” or “journey”. In our culture journey is one the most important aspect of life, Basotho used to travel a lot on foot or horseback. They travelled long distances within the country. Basotho respected travelers so much they took a great care of them. Basotho are such welcoming nation by nature. This is a legacy we have inherited from our forefathers. Objectives of LEETO Tours: To generate profits through sustainable eco-tourism by:- -Arranging professional tours and travel for local and international visitors; -To arrange professional adventure tours such as mountain climbing; absailing; hiking; team-building for corporate entities etc.; -To arrange cultural and heritage tours throughout the country; -To support the growth and development of tourism within the country; -To promote responsible use of the country’s biodiversity (flora and fauna) resulting in sustained eco-system; -To promote indigenous cuisine and lifestyle; -To contribute in reducing unemployment and growing the overall economy of Lesotho;
