Why we are SurfKing? Surfing has been an exceptional sport for many centuries. Not everybody was allowed to show their skills on the board. Kings were the only ones who had privilege to face the ocean power, futhermore, priests have been asked to pray for bigger waves. Nobility even had their own beaches, where nobody was allowed to share waves with royal family members, otherwise they were punished by death. But if the king fell of the board, his reigning days were over. Only the kings who overcome the ocean elements was able to deserve the greatest authority. No one but selected masters were allowed to make the boards and traditions of technology were passed from generation to generation. The length of the royal board was around 7 meters, while the unroyal people were not allowed to have longer then 3,5 meters board. Isn‘t this sport a KING‘S sport?

Kodėl mes SurfKing? Banglenčių sportas prieš daugelį šimtmečių buvo laikomas išskirtiniu ir anaiptol ne kiekvienas turėdavo galimybę pademonstruoti savo meistriškumą. Tik karaliai turėjo privilegiją susigrumti su vandens stichija, o jų prašomi žiniuoniai šaukdavosi aukščiausių bangų. Kilmingieji asmenys netgi turėjo savo paplūdimius, kuriuose dalintis banga su karališkosios šeimos atstovu buvo nusikaltimas, nepaklusę buvo baudžiami mirtimi, tačiau jei pats karalius krisdavo nuo lentos, jo karaliavimo dienos taip pat buvo suskaičiuotos. Didžiausią autoritetą turėjo tas valdovas, kuris sugebėdavo nugalėti vandenyno stichijas. Žinoma, banglentes gamino tik išrinktieji meistrai, o technologijų tradicijos perduodamos iš kartos į kartą. Karališkosios lentos ilgis siekdavo iki 7 metrų, o tuo tarpu paprasto mirtingojo banglentė negalėdavo viršyti 3,5 metro. Argi tai ne KARALIŠKAS sportas?
