🇱🇹 Į ką atkreipti dėmesį Skiperiams savarankiškai nuomojantiems čarterinį laivą?

- Rinkitės kuo naujesnius laivus, todėl kad čarteriniai laivai greičiau dėvisi, ypač šalyse, kur sezonas visus metus. Esam turėję nesklandumų net ir su visai naujais laivais. Tad kuo naujesnis, tuo mažesnė tikimybė, kad suges generatorius (automatiškai neveiks oro kondicionierius, vandens gėlintuvas), variklis, prastai šaldys šaldytuvai ir pati laivo būklė labiau džiugins, nei nedžiugins.
- Rezervuokit laivus kuo anksčiau – didžiausias šansas gauti naujesnį laivą už mažiausią kainą. Kas yra kuo anksčiau? Priklauso nuo šalies ir uostelio pasiūlos, kai kur užtenka prieš 6 mėn., kai kur ir 1.5 metų gali būti jau vėlu.
- Pasirinkę šalį, kurioje plauksite, pasigilinkit kokia dominuojanti temperatūra Jūsų pasirinktu metų laiku; Jei temperatūra viršyja 25-30C/77-86F, rinkitės laivą turintį generatorių, oro kondicionierių;
- Visuomet privalumas rinktis laivą turintį vandens gėlintuvą. Kai kurie čarteriai įtraukia į pagrindinę kainą, kai kurie ima papildomą mokestį, ir visai ne mažą, tad, jei plaukiat Graikijoj, gal ir neverta, tačiau Karibuose už litrą, gali tekt sumokėti ~50ct.
- Labai patogu turėti glimybę pasirinkti depozito draudimą, ypač nulinį. Atostogos įgauna visai kitą atspalvį, kai nereikia sukt galvos apie sudužusius indus arba aiškintis su čarteriu ar buvo koks įbrėžimas priimant laivą, ar ne.
- Na, ir aišku, kuo didesnis laivas, tuo brangesnis, bet daugiau erdvės, patogumo ir atitinkamai prabangos ir komforto detalių.

Tai tik mūsų rekomendacijos. Visuomet pasitaiko išimčių ir jos būna pačios saldžiausios.

🇪🇺What to pay attention to for skippers who independently charter a boat?

• Choose newer boats, because charter boats wear out quickly, especially in countries where the season runs all year round. We have had issues even with brand new boats. Therefore, the newer the boat, the lower the likelihood of generator failure (which means the air conditioner and watermaker won’t work automatically), engine trouble, poorly functioning refrigerators, and the overall condition of the boat will be more pleasing rather than disappointing.
• Reserve boats as early as possible – the greatest chance to get a newer boat at the lowest price. What does “as early as possible” mean? It depends on the country and the marina’s supply; sometimes 6 months in advance is enough, while in some places, 1.5 years may already be too late.
• After choosing the country where you will sail, delve into the dominant temperature during your chosen time of year; if the temperature exceeds 25-30C/77-86F, choose a boat with a generator and air conditioner.
It’s always advantageous to choose a boat with a watermaker. Some charters include it in the base price, while others charge an additional fee, which can be quite significant. So, if you are sailing in Greece, it might not be worth it, but in the Caribbean, you might end up paying around ~50 cents per liter.
• It’s very convenient to have the option to choose a deposit insurance, especially a zero deductible one. Holidays take on a completely different hue when you don’t have to worry about broken dishes or explaining charter whether there was a scratch when accepting the boat, or not.
• Of course, the larger the boat, the more expensive it is, but it also offers more space, comfort, and accordingly, luxury and comfort details.

These are just our recommendations. There might be exceptions, and they can be very sweet.

• Thailand is a great place to try out leisure sailing, with minimal rough seas, so the likelihood of seasickness is almost close to zero. All that’s left is to enjoy a hotel on the water with the best view.

🇱🇹Į ką atkreipti dėmesį Skipperiams ir ne tik, buriuojant Tailande 🇹🇭

- Pakankamai stiprios srovės, būtina pasitikrint prieš lipant maudytis;
- Srtiprūs potvyniai ir atoslūgiai, stojant nakvynei būtina įsitikint ar prie žemiausio vandens laivas nesieks dugno. Į kai kurias marinas galėsite į/išplaukti tik prie aukšto vandens;
- Nacionalinių parkų teritorijose negalima inkaruotis, žvejoti, kai kur ir maudytis, tačiau šią info pagrinde rasite Navigacinėse programėlėse;
- Jūros vandenyje labai daug žvejų plūduriukų iš plastikinių buteliukų ir kitokių niekučių, tad buriavimas reikalauja intensyvaus atidumo plaukiant, ypač šiaurinėje dalyje;
- Beveik visose, Navigaciniam jūrlapyje, pažymėtose inkaravietėse būna paruoštų bujų, tačiau čarterio buvom perspėti prieš prisirišant įsitikinti ar tinkami. Mūsų vertinimu, dauguma tvarkingi ir saugūs.
- Banguotumas priklauso nuo sezono, bet didžiąją metų laiko dalį yra minimalus, mūsų vertinimu 1 iš 10, todėl labai rekomenduotinas įguloms, kurias gąsdina jūrligė.
- Šiaurinėje Puketo įlankos dalyje vanduo neskaidrus, labiau primena mūsų kuršių marių vandenį, tačiau besileidžiant į pietus išskaidrėja. Nors potvyniai ir atoslūgiai irgi turi įtakos skaidrumui, pietinėje jūros dalyje apstu Karibiškų pliažiukų, kurių krantus skalauja krištolinis vanduo.

🇪🇺What to pay attention to for skippers and not only when sailing in Thailand 🇹🇭

• Strong currents, essential to check before getting into the water;
• Strong tides and currents, when anchoring for the night, it’s necessary to make sure the boat won’t touch the bottom at low tide. In some marinas, you can only enter/leave at high tide;
• Camping, fishing, and swimming are prohibited in national park areas, but you can find this information in navigation apps;
• There are many fishing nets attached to plastic bottles and other debris in the sea, so sailing requires careful attention, especially in the northern part;
• Almost all anchorage points marked on the navigation chart have prepared mooring buoys, but we were advised by the charter company to make sure they are suitable before tying up. In our opinion, most are well-maintained and safe.
• Wave intensity varies by season, but for the most part, it’s minimal, in our estimation 1 out of 10, making it highly recommended for crews afraid of seasickness.
• In the northern part of the Phuket Bay, the water is not clear, more resembling the water of our Curonian Lagoon, but it clears up as you head south. Although tides and currents also affect clarity, in the southern part of the sea, there are plenty of Caribbean-like beaches with crystal-clear water washing their shores.
