WTM in London has started very well this year. Busy day with many meetings and exceptional event - Lonely Planet "Best in Travel Top Country" award to Lithuania at the end of the day! Thanks to Lithuania Travel we have beautiful meeting place here at WTM as well as increasing awareness of our country. Lithuania as well as all Baltic countries are getting more and more popular among international travellers this year, this is reflected in the numbers of guests in our destination.
Increasing interest into Baltic countries was also seen at the Baltic road show in Seoul earlier this month.
Thanks to professional Lithuania Travel 🇱🇹 team, represented by Olga Goncarova and Elzė Vyšniauskaitė - Mickė, Latvia travel🇱🇻 team - Inguna Zigure, Visit Estonia 🇪🇪 team - Agnia Nast as well as representative of the Baltics Mr. Shigeyoshi Noto, this event was great success, which was attended by more than 50 most influential tour operators from South Korea.
It was a great chance for Amber tours to present our services, unique programs, invite new clients to experience the best of the Baltics together!

Lithuania ranked 19th this year on the overall list, but among respondents under 30, it was the No. 1 happiest country in 2024❤️

February is a month of celebrations.
We start with Pancake tuesday, the eve of Ash Wednesday, to mark the winter's end. Just after it celebration of Love takes turn with romantic mood all over the country.
When the buzz of St. Valentines' is over the MOST IMPORTANT celebration takes place - BIRTHDAY OF LITHUANIA! February 16 is the State Restoration Day, because back in 1918 on February 16 the twenty members of the Council of Lithuania signed a document – the Act of Independence – declaring Lithuania a sovereign democratic state with the capital city Vilnius!!!

In 1991, on this day, the citizens of Lithuania had proven that the desire for Freedom and Independence is stronger than aggression and brutality of the enemy.
