Billboard.lu is an initiative started by two Swedish guys that experienced hands-on the frustrating difficulties of selling and buying different things when moving to and from Luxembourg. On top of this it is also problematic to find advice for different services that you need e.g. gym, hairdresser, dentist, and doctors that offer good quality of service and also speak English in a good way. What differentiates Billboard.lu from other sell & buy sites is that it is specifically targeting the unique needs of the international Expat community in Luxembourg. The functionality, design and features of www.billboard.lu are developed only to meet only the needs of the Expat community. The guiding star from start has been to create a site that live up to our standards in terms of simplicity & user friendliness. This since we consider all other buy & sell sites as difficult and hard to navigate for most users. Billboard.lu very well understands that local groups on Facebook (FB) are one alternative to address this specific need of buying & selling. However, based on our experience these FB groups are not optimal if you, as a seller, aim to get the best possible price for whatever product you are selling. It is also very hard for you, as a buyer, to find ads if you are looking for specific products or would like to search or sort ads based on different criteria. Instead we have made www.billboard.lu fully integrated with FB so that ads can be shared on FB and you can find the profile of the seller also on FB to build trust and increase safety.
