Eppeltree is set in an orchard within a protected nature zone in Eppeldorf, with a breathtaking view into the sunset. Eppeltree is part of a reconverted farmhouse built in 1842, set on top of the hill above the small, tucked-away village of Eppeldorf. The orchard surrounding the house lies in a protected nature reserve, and has mostly Rambour apple trees (though not exclusively), which is a tradit

ional apple sort in the area. Each apple harvest, usually in October, we pick the apples and pears and have them pressed to our delicious "Eppeljuice" at Eppelpress, a local farm & juicery in Eppeldorf. So it's all about "Eppels", hence the name "Eppeltree" !
