VSCC Mallory Park Bob Gerard Memorial Trophy Race Meeting. 31st of August 2024

Finally back at Mallory Park for the last VSCC Race Meeting of 2024.
After a great BBQ on Friday evening, Saturday saw a great number of MG´s participating, not only in the MG only Triple-M register race but also various other races throughout the day:

George Daniell, youngest MG driver of the day, first time went out in his MG PB single seater and Malcom Beer´s first time out in his K3 single seater as well.
It was a fantastic race day with a lot of success:
Elly Reece became second on Handicap in the “Young Person´s Race” and Peter Cundy, our guest racer from Australia went for second place in the “Handicap race for Pre War Cars”
16 MG´s entered the “Triple-M Register Challenge” Race and Nick Powell in his Austin/MG LA Special took the win after a brilliant battle with Richard Frankel in the K3, that unfortunately had to retire after 7 laps.
Second place went to Ian Goddard and third to Marc Reece.
What a great end to the VSCC race season.
