The eighth city that we will talk about is Gdańsk, Poland 🇮🇩

Gdańsk, capital of Pomorskie województwo (province), northern Poland, situated at the mouth of the Vistula River on the Baltic Sea. Like a ministate all to itself, Gdańsk has a unique feel that sets it apart from other cities in Poland.

On the first morning is offered a tour of the so-called Tri-City – a conurbation uniting Gdańsk with the lively coastal towns of Sopot and Gdynia. The tour along the 35 km gulf of Gdansk includes a visit to the famous pier in Sopot and a lovely organ concert at the Oliwa Church. In the afternoon we offer an optional tour out of Gdansk to Malbork Castle. Then we continue with a visit to Elbag. After a short visit to the Old Town with the red-bricked St. Nicolas Cathedral, we continue to pay a visit to Malbork Castle – a massive fortress founded by the Teutonic knights in the 13th century and beautifully sat on the banks of the sluggish Nogat River.

If you are wondering about the food, we offer an optional farewell dinner at the prestigious Restaurant Pod Lososiem.

On the second day in Gdańsk, we offer a morning old town walking tour. We will see Dlugi Targ or Long Market, St. Mary’s Church, St. Bridget’s Church, Artus Court, and Gdansk Town Hall.

The seventh city that we will talk about is Warsaw, Poland 🇵🇱

Each city has a place that is its showcase and a must-see on any trip. In Warsaw, it’s the Old Town, entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List – it’s where the city’s heart has been beating for centuries.
The morning sightseeing tour includes the Royal Route and the Old Town with the Royal Castle, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square, and the Barbican. In the afternoon is offered an optional excursion to the Royal Lazienki Park with the Palace on the Water.

The sixth city that we will talk about is Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮

Helsinki is located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture and this is reflected everywhere in the green and lively Finnish capital. It is the leading seaport and industrial city of the nation.

Usually, in the mornings we will take a tour around the harbors and the Senate Square with the Lutheran Cathedral, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit at the famous Church-in-the-Rock. Of course, we offer an optional excursion to Suomenlinna Fortress and an optional Finnish dinner at Restaurant Salve. There is so much to see!

Today we will take a look at the program that we have made to explore Moscow 🇷🇺

Moscow, The Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolises in the world. The morning sightseeing tour includes the highlights of the vast city: The Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Theatre Square with Bolshoi Theatre and Sparrow Hills with Moscow University and we visit the Kremlin grounds and one of the cathedrals.

If you want, you can enjoy an optional visit to the Moscow Metro and a guided stroll along the famous Arbat Street. And what's a better way to feel Moscow's rhythm than by river cruise? In the evening we offer an optional night river cruise.

The fourth city that we will talk about is St.Petersburg, Russia 🇷🇺

St.Petersburg is a gem of world culture and Russia’s most European city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city the title of Venice of the North.

In the morning we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: The Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent, and much more.

After that in the afternoon, you get a chance to visit the Zarskoye Selo with the impressive Catherine’s Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during World War II and was restored for St. Petersburg’s tri-centennial celebrations. It’s stunning!

In the evening we offer an optional visit to the Nikolaevsky Palace with an exciting Russian folklore show and Russian “champagne” and snacks.

Tallinn - the perfect blend of old and new. Tallinn is a cosy capital with clean air and a relaxed vibe. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The first city that we will talk about is our dear Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻

Founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of various architectural styles. We offer a walking tour of the Old Town including Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large and Small Guild House and the Freedom Monument. These buildings are stunning, you have to see them yourself!

After that, we offer an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort. You won’t regret seeing this beautiful city that is full of wooden architecture, souvenir shops, and beautiful beaches 🌊

Another extraordinary year is coming to an end. Even it has not been a year we were dreaming about we still have been able to navigate through challenges, travel restrictions, uncertainty and unexpected changes of local regulations in our destinations of operations.
Yet, we have been excited to welcome our guests in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland on our Guaranteed Escorted Tours and private travel arrangements. Our guests have listed to organ music concert at Oliwa Cathedral in Gdansk, seen fabulous garden of Rundāles pils/Rundāle Palace, tried their hand with Latgale ceramics in Preiļi, discovered Kumu in Tallinn and admired Alvar Aalto architecture in Helsinki.
