Last night, we had the honor of attending a reception at the recently renovated Riga Castle, celebrating the 53rd Union Day of the UAE 🇦🇪🎂

The beautiful halls of the castle set the stage for a wonderful evening, featuring an inspiring speech from the UAE ambassador, lively Latvian folk dance performance and a fashion show by local designers inspired by Arab culture.

Our CEO, Vlad Koriagin, and Project Manager for the Arab-speaking region, Paula Poriņa, represented Baltic Travel Group, strengthening the ties between Latvia and the UAE. With airBaltic direct flights between Riga and Dubai, fostering tourism and collaboration has never been easier 🌍✈️

Baltic Travel Group is proud to have supported a meaningful initiative in Riga! 🇺🇦🎶

From October 4 to 15, 2024, a music camp was held for children from war-affected areas in Ukraine. This camp, led by pianist Andrejs OSOKINS and the Osokina Freedom Festival team, brought together 20 young Ukrainian musicians for nearly two weeks of music, culture, and discovery in Latvia 🙌
⠀
These talented children, aged 12 to 16, honed their skills in masterclasses led by top Latvian and Ukrainian music educators, explored Latvia through cultural excursions, and, most importantly, found a safe space to feel like kids again 🕊️
⠀
The camp was organized with the support of Ziedot.lv, Pāvula Jurjāna Rīgas Mūzikas skola, and many other partners, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We are grateful to be part of a network that fosters creativity, resilience, and healing for young musicians! ✨
