Family friendly and dog friendly self catering apartments in a ski and hiking resort in the Hochkönig, Austrian Alps, near Salzburg. We offer the Hochkönig Card - giving free use of the summer mountain lifts, hiking bus, outdoor swimming pools, and night skiing in Maria Alm, plus lots more! There are 3 apartments at Haus Schneeberg, each sleeping 4/5 people, up to 10 total across the 3 apartments.

We are situated in the centre of a ski and hiking village of Muhlbach am Hochkonig, with over 120km of pistes and 340km of hiking trails. The ski area is part of the Ski Amade region, ith over 740km of pistes! The house is 100m from the ski and hiking bus stop, and 750m from the gondola and pistes. You can ski back to 100m from the house, subject to snow conditions - check out the video! The scenery is magnificent, with the views of the Hochkonig mountain. In winter there are lots of activities including alpine skiing, cross country skiing, tobogganing (with a 5km sledge ride down to the village!), snow shoeing, horse drawn cart rides, and more! In summer the area is great for hiking, horse riding, climbing, cycling, petting farms, sight seeing, and there are tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool in the village.

BITTE BEACHTEN:
Aufgrund massiver Unwetterschäden ist nur mehr ein Teilbereich der Liechtensteinklamm
(bis Aussichtsplattform HELIX-Treppe) begehbar!

Im letzten Abschnitt der Klamm sind unaufschiebbare Instandsetzungsarbeiten notwendig, dieser Bereich kann erst im Frühjahr 2025 wieder für Besucher geöffnet werden!

Die Eintrittspreise werden reduziert.

We are Alison and Jerome and are mountain enthusiasts and love to share our knowledge of the local area and surroundings with our guests!

Haus Schneeberg has 3self catering apartments in the ski and hiking village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig in the Austrian Alps, near Salzburg. Perfect for couples who are looking for a mountain adventure, but also great for families. We are also dog friendly. We are situated in the Hochkonig, with over 120km of pistes and 340km of hiking trails. The ski area is part of the Ski Amade region, with over 740km of pistes! The house is 100m from the ski and hiking bus stop, and 750m from the gondola and pistes. You can ski back to 100m from the house, subject to snow conditions - check out the video! The scenery is magnificent, with the views of the Hochkonig mountain. We are in the centre of the Salzburg region so it is great to access all the sights such as Hohenwerfen castle, Eisriesenwelt (the largest ice caves in the world!), Grossglockner High Alpine Road, waterfalls, gorges, and of course Salzburg itself!
