The royal palace of Fes is the oldest and the biggest imperial palace in Morocco.
It was built in 13th centry by The Merenids, and since then it has become known as a symbol of Arabe-Andalou-Mouresc architecture.
In the pictures the old royal door palace that was established by the Moulay idriss in 13th centry, and the second one is the main royal door now that was built in 1968 by the king Hassan II.

Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls. It was build in the 11th centry by AMGHAR BEN HADDOU.
The kasbah is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat because the houses crowd together within the defensive walls, which are reinforced by corner towers.

Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco.
All the names and spellings of Kutubiyya Mosque, including Jami' al-Kutubiyah, Kotoubia, Kutubiya, and Kutubiyyin, are based on the Arabic word kutubiyyin (كُتُبيين), which means "booksellers".
The Koutoubia Mosque, or Bookseller's Mosque, reflects the honorable bookselling trade practiced in the nearby souk. At one time as many as 100 book vendors worked in the streets at the base of the mosque.

CHOUARA Tannery is the largest medinas tanneries in Morocco, Chaouara was built in 11th centry, it is considered among the oldest part of Fes.
The tanneries are packed with the round stone vessels filled with dye or white liquids for softening the hides.
It is striking to see the hard physical labour that goes into the soft elegant leather goods which are offred for sale in the surrouding workshops.
