Essaouira is a port city and resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. Strong "Alizée" trade winds make the city’s crescent beach popular for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.

ODYSSEY MOROCCO TRAVEL offers this activity in one day camel trek as one of the many sorts of Sahara and desert activities that may be experienced in Morocco. Camel trekking in the desert of Morocco and camel trekking in the Sahara Desert both include being carried by camels (dromedaries) through the desert. That is one of the features that make the southern region of Morocco famous. The Sahara Desert is an excellent escape from the hustle and bustle of Morocco’s main urban areas. Tents for nomadic people, sand dunes, and a night sky filled with stars are all that you must look forward to at this location, and you may make use of all of them to the maximum.

KASBAH OF AIT-BEN HADDOU is probably Morocco’s most famous structure. It is a historic ksar (fortified village) located in Morocco along the former caravan route that connected Marrakesh and the Sahara Desert. In 1987, it was selected to be included on the list of World Heritage Sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The Hassan II Mosque is a mosque in Casablanca Morocco. It is the second largest functioning mosque in Africa and is the 7th largest in the world. Its minaret is the world's second tallest minaret at 210 metres (689 ft). Completed in 1993, it was designed by Michel Pinseau under the guidance of King Hassan II and built by Moroccan artisans from all over the kingdom. The minaret is 60 stories high topped by a laser, the light from which is directed towards Necca. The mosque stands on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean; worshippers can pray over the sea but there is no glass floor looking into the sea. The walls are of hand-crafted marble and the roof is retractable. A maximum of 105,000 worshippers can gather together for prayer: 25,000 inside the mosque hall and another 80,000 on the mosque's outside ground.

Chefchaouen, or chaouen, was built in the 15th century (early 1400s), but it wasn’t until the the 1900s that it was painted blue. During that time Morocco saw a large influx of Jews as the Second World War started. For the Jews, the color blue represents the sky, which reminded people of heaven and God.
