Kasbah Amridil is an historical fortified residence or kasbah in Morocco(Tighremt in Amazigh) located in the oasis of Skoura, just a short drive from Ouarzazate. It is considered one of the most impressive kasbahs of its kind in Morocco and was formerly featured on the Moroccan 50 dirham note.

التقت السيدة الأولى بستة نساء مغربيات يترأسن تعاونيات في المناطق الريفية بالقرب من مراكش. استفادت هذه التعاونيات من منح بقيمة 9000 دولار من برنامج التمويل التعاوني التابع للوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية، وهي مبادرة بقيمة 18.2 مليون دولار نفذتها Give Directly بالشراكة مع المبادرة الوطنية للتنمية البشرية (INDH).

يدعم البرنامج 1400 تعاونية مغربية متأثرة اقتصاديا من عدة تحديات من بينها كوفيد-19، وتغير المناخ، والجفاف، والتضخم. سيساعد هذا الدعم في إنعاش الإنتاج، وتحسين سبل العيش.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden had a chance to meet six extraordinary Moroccan women who lead cooperatives in rural areas near Marrakech. The cooperatives have all benefited from $9,000 cash grants from USAID’s Cooperative Financing Program, an $18.2 million initiative implemented by GiveDirectly in partnership with the Moroccan government’s National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

The program directly supports 1,400 Moroccan cooperatives economically impacted by various shocks, such as COVID-19, climate change, drought, and inflation, helping them revive production, improve livelihoods, and become more resilient.
