is safe

Travelling to Morocco is safe but visiting is highly recommended

16/02/2024

You can arrange Camel or Horse rides along the beach and enjoy the fresh air, other activities are available such as Quad rides and Kite surfing especially in Diabat, we recommend it during the months of July and August because the wind is stronger during this period of the year.

Essaouira is a different kind of moroccan town, a city you hear people fall in love with but you don’t know why, until you get there and realize yourself why.People go there for two or three days but end up staying much longer.

ITINERARY: 7 DAYS TOUR FROM RABAT
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT RABAT AIRPORT
The beginning of your seven-day Morocco tour from Rabat includes picking you up at the airport, transferring you to Fes, dinner, and accommodation.

DAY 02: FEZ / UNESCO HERITAGE SITE
This is day two of your seven-day tour from Rabat. You will have the entire day to explore this magnificent city, the most ancient, wealthy, cultural, religious, spiritual, and enigmatic of Morocco’s four imperial cities, after enjoying a delicious Moroccan breakfast. In these imperial cities, which offer a wealth of discoveries. The following perspectives define Fes: The largest and most well-known of the four ancient tanneries that remain operating in the center of Fez’s Medina is Chouara Tannery. The most significant and notable of its architectural complexes is the Qaraouine Mosque. The oldest and most picturesque gate in the entire city is Bab Boujeloud, which is the main entryway to the Medina. Although you cannot enter the 14th-century Royal Palace, it is still worth a visit to admire its seven gates, making it one of Morocco’s largest and most historic buildings. Moulay Idriss’ Mausoleum: Honoring one of Fez’s founders and the monarch of Morocco from 807 to 828, Moulay Idriss is remembered here. One of the oldest occupations in Fez is still metalworking, and Seffarine Square is the location of this profession. It is situated in the center of the Medina. There are three madrassas in Fez, which are old Koranic schools that occasionally house resident students, The Medersas Cherratine is the only one open for visits and stands out from the others due to its slightly ornate yet functional style. Finally, we have dinner and accommodation.

DAY 03: FEZ / CEDAR FOREST / ZIZ VALLEY / MERZOUGA / CAMEL TREKKING AND NIGHT IN THE DESERT
On the third day of your seven-day tour of Morocco, departing from Rabat, we head out of Fes and toward Ifrane, one of the most intriguing towns in Morocco due to its European atmosphere and alpine architecture. Richer Moroccans choose to send their children to Ifrane, which is home to one of the most renowned universities in the nation. We will also go to the Azrou Cedar Forest, which is well-known for having the largest ancient cedar in the area, Gouraud. There are hundreds of Barbary monkeys living in this forest, and you are welcome to feed them. We will continue traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains and taking in the beautiful scenery that this route has to offer. The Rock, also known as Azrou, is a hilltop location that is ideal for strolling and taking in the breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings. The city’s primary attractions are its cooperatives, where men carve cedar wood and women weave carpets. We will proceed through the pass of Tizi Talghamt, which means Neck of the Camel and is located at an elevation of 1907 meters with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, to Midelt, where we will pause for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue our journey through the Ziz Valley, passing by Erfoud and Errachidia. The valley is a breathtaking sight, with its crimson gorges striking a contrast with the green surroundings. Travelers experience complete tranquility because of the striking gorges and lovely palm groves. The region is worth seeing because of its impressive adobe Kasbahs, long belts of flooded palm groves, and fortified towns. In the middle of the afternoon, we will arrive at the entrance to the desert, where we will wait for the camels to transport us over the vast dunes for approximately two hours. After stopping in the middle of the dunes to take in the sunset, we will ride the camels to the camp. Everything will be prepared for you to have a memorable evening, including dinner, a nomadic lifestyle, and welcome tea. Spend one night in an opulent camp surrounded by the perfect quiet that the vast expanse of sand in the heart of the desert has to offer. The full moon’s intense light is reflected in the sky above, which appears to be so full of stars that you could reach up and touch them with your hand. Dinner and camping will be in luxury for the night.

DAY 4: DESERT / RISSANI / TODRA GORGE / DADES GORGE
On day four of your seven-day tour of Morocco, departing from Rabat We head to Rissani to visit the market and its renowned donkey parking area after enjoying a satisfying breakfast. All of the desert’s tribes and nomads congregate in this special location to restock on supplies. We will travel to Erfoud after Rissani to see one of the fossil workshops, where we can view fossils that date back 380 million years. We will eventually arrive at the well-known Todra Gorge, a favorite canyon for hikers and rock climbers. Our tour ends in Dades Valley. We will have dinner and sleeping arrangements.

DAY 5: DADES GORGE / VALLEY OF ROSES / OUARZAZATE / AIT BENHADDOU / MARRAKECH
We will depart Rabat on the fifth day of your seven-day tour of Morocco and head down the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs” to the Dades Valley. As we travel through the Valley of the Roses, we will see the residents making creams, soaps, and rose water from the numerous Damascus roses that are planted there. The route follows the river and is bordered by adobe Kasbahs, creating an incredibly picturesque area. We will travel through Ouarzazate and stop at the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, as the scenery changes. Numerous movies, including The Gladiator, Obelix, and Western Sahara starring Penelope Cruz, have been filmed in this breathtaking location. After traversing the 2.260-meter-high Tizi N’Ticheka pass, our route descends to the plains and the red city of Marrakech. Next, it ascends into the High Atlas Mountains. We will have dinner and accommodation. Closing of your seven-day Morocco tour, this began in Rabat on the fifth day.

DAY 6: MARRAKECH WITH LOCAL GUIDE
On the sixth day of your seven-day tour of Morocco departing from Rabat, you will have free time to explore this amazing city on your own. Here are a few of the city’s noteworthy attractions: A large artificial pond sits in the middle of the serene Menara Gardens, which are said to have been used by the sultans for courtship. The gardens are a reflection of the Muslim paradise on earth and are particularly lovely for strolling. One of the most popular tourist destinations in Marrakech, the Saadian Tombs were first made public in 1917, the year of their discovery. The remains of the Saadian dynasty’s warriors and servants are interred in more than 100 mosaic-decorated tombs located in the same garden. The Bahia Palace is a palace and gardens designed to be the largest palace ever constructed, and the former Vizier’s home has a patio that is encircled by rooms and has a central basin as decoration. Among the city’s most emblematic monuments is the Koutoubia Mosque, which is distinguished by its 69-meter-tall minaret, making it the highest structure and a well-known landmark. Despite being located in the middle of the Medina, Jemaa El Fna Square is surprisingly large, with a tangle of winding streets and alleyways leading off. You will also be taken aback by how drastically the square’s surroundings change throughout the day, becoming a glamorous souk, and at night, a hive of food vendors where people congregate for lodging and dinner.

Day 2 Majorelle Gardens & Marrakech City Tour
After breakfast we head over to the beautiful Majorelle Gardens just a short drive from the hotel. These botanical gardens were designed by the French Artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and 1930s. He used a distinctive shade of cobalt blue for the majority of the garden and although a lot of his other work has largely been forgotten – this garden is seen as his greatest master piece. The garden has been owned by Yves Saint Laurent since 1980 and his ashes were scattered here after his death in 2008. The garden contains an extensive collection of exotic plants and trees and is home to 15 species of bird. There is also a Berber Museum representing the various indigenous tribes of Morocco including over 600 artefacts. The newly opened Yves Saint Laurent museum nearby is also well worth a visit - this museum was opened in 2017 and is dedicated to the life and works of Yves Saint Laurent himself. Please note entrance into the YSL museum is not included. This afternoon you will meet up with the rest of the group who are coming in from Casablanca before embarking on a guided tour of Marrakech. Inside the rose coloured medina walls is a tangle of winding streets and alleys that open onto verdant gardens and bustling souks. At the heart of the medina is Djemaa El Fna, the city's exuberant market place and towering over it, is the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the tallest building in the city.

This incredible ancient fortified Kasbah was built for defence purposes high on a hill and is a stunningly well preserved medieval city which has famously featured in many blockbuster movies, including Gladiator and Laurence of Arabia as its beauty is unequal to any other fortified kasbah in south Morocco. Carrying on we continue south to the Hollywood of North Africa – Ouarzazate (pronounced war-zazat). Ouarzazate is famous for being the filming location for many other Hollywood blockbusters and famous TV shows including James Bond – The Living Daylights, The Mummy and more of Morocco

Morocco, a melting pot of dynasties and cultures :

Each country has its own history: historical facts, events and important milestones that gave the country its true historical value. The history of a country is one of the events considered worthy of remembrance, which perfectly applies to Morocco. With several dynasties that have succeeded one another over the years: the Idrisside dynasty, the Almoravid dynasty, the Almohad dynasty, the Merinid dynasty, the Saadian dynasty and the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco has gained international consideration as a multicultural country, with several types of heritage recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO. Morocco is one of the go-to destinations for discovery lovers, the most fascinated by nature, history, the art of living and Moroccan hospitality. The experience gained during their journeys in Morocco leave them pleasantly satisfied with their stay.

𝟏𝟐 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐨

Think Moroccan cooking and your senses will immediately transport you to distinctly aromatic flavors. Thanks to spices from Morocco, anyone can easily tell if a dish is cooking up from across a room.

With its long history of colonization and immigration, Moroccan flavors draw influence from a fusion of cuisines. If you’re well-traveled (or simply a foodie), you might be able to tell that most Morrocan dishes are reminiscent of international tastes—including Arab, Mediterranean, Spanish, and French flavors.

If you’re visiting Morroco, spices are definitely something you want to bring home with you. After all, if you’re lucky enough to land in this rich and exotic country, you will want to prolong your experience—even way after you arrive home. And, what better way to experience a culture than through food?
𝟏. 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧 (𝐙𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞)
𝟐-. 𝐑𝐚𝐬 𝐄𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭:
If you want to take Moroccan flavors home with you, ras el hanout is your best bet. This spice brings out the best of Moroccan spices—it is literally composed of over a dozen of them! Some popular ingredients in ras el hanout are cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, chili peppers, and nutmeg.

Activities You Must Do When Visiting Morocco

Fantasia 1001 Nights Dinner Show in Marrakesh

This is the perfect way to spend the evening in Marrakesh, immersing yourself in “101 Arabian Nights” like scenes as you indulge in the world-famous Moroccan cuisine and watch exciting performances. As one of the most exciting Marrakesh tours, the Fantasia 101 Nights Dinner show starts off in a palm grove within a traditional “caïdales” tent, where you’ll get to enjoy a typical Moroccan feast before going to a nearby arena where you can enjoy shows by horsemen, acrobats, and belly dancers.

This traditional folklore started off as a war ceremony that involves horsemen from two opposing groups in a standoff with their rifles pointing to the sky. They will make you surge with adrenaline as you watch them unleash their barrage into the sky amid shouting and light. This 4-hour war ceremony becomes even more magical as a carpet flies by carrying the Sultan and the wife he favors the most. This quintessential Moroccan event is one of the Marrakesh activities you wouldn’t want to miss out on.

Marrakech: Day Trip with Camel Ride, Quad Bike & Spa

This is one of those Marrakesh activities that give you the chance to get away from the souks, streets, and palaces by getting onto the back of a camel on the outskirts of the city. You’ll get to explore an oasis of beautifully manicured gardens, lavish in an orange tree scented atmosphere, and enjoy the palm groves. This is the perfect camel riding and quad biking environment. You’ll also get to experience hospitality in traditional Berber villages as you learn about their more than a 200-year-old lifestyle that has barely changed.

A visit to the heart of an old median will follow, after which you can relax in a traditional spa and hammam with black soap and eucalyptus oil. The setting is quiet, peaceful and rejuvenating, enhanced by the aromatic oils and a relaxing traditional massage with argan oil.

Highlights:

Enjoy a camel ride through the Palmeraie of Marrakech
Get awesome views of palm groves and orange trees as you ride the camel
Use quad bikes to explore the Marrakech palm grove
Enjoy the extra attention and warm during the hammam spa experience
Let argan oil enhance your relaxing massage
Get a rejuvenating experience with a black soap and eucalyptus scrub

Duration: 5 hours

Marrakech Tagine Cookery Class with a Local
This is one of those Marrakesh tours that will give you the chance to learn how to make some of the Moroccan dishes. The Marrakesh Tangine Cookery Class with a Local tour starts off by shopping for ingredients at one of the souks. Among the things you’ll buy include spices, meats, vegetables, and herbs that will make up the food you’re going to cook. Some of the ingredients are grown in Morocco, including saffron, grown in Taliouine, mint, and olives, grown in Meknes, and lemons and oranges, grown in Fez.
