This beautiful garden was originally bought by French expatriate Jacques Majorelle in 1924. Later, it was purchased by the Fashion designer Yves St Laurent where he restored it to its former glory. It was made famous abroad when the designer showcased this garden in the 1997 Chelsea Flower Show in London. With it’s beautiful and unique shades of cobalt blue and groves of bamboo, date palms … it is a little wonder in the middle of Marrakech.
