Amazing Morocco Tour – 10 days/9 nights:
Day 1: Tanger / Rif Mountain / Chechouan
Arrive to Tanger Your journey will take you to the wonderful city of Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains you will be dedicated to exploring the simply beautiful city of Chefchaouen where everything is set dramatically climbing up the mountains. Load up your cameras! Its blue-washed houses, narrow cobbled streets, and mountainous backdrop create a tranquil and photographic setting.Night in Chefchaouan.
Day 2: Chefchaouan / Volubilis/ Meknes/ Fes:
After breakfast you will depart to Volubilis and explore the ruins of this Roman city. You will visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, a place of pilgrimage of all Moroccans After you will continue to Meknes where you will explore the Medina of Meknes with its beautiful Tomb of Moulay Ismail, The Granary, The Square of Lehdim, and the Gate of Bab al Mansour. You will have the opportunity to explore the souks and relax in one of the Square café’s. In the afternoon you will head to the city of Fes where you will discover one of most important royal cities of Morocco and stay the evening.
Day 3: Fes Sight seeing
Today, you will spend the morning exploring the ramparts of Fes, seeing the Tomb of the Merinids, visiting the 14th-century Bou Inania Medersa and the excellent museum with its collection of illuminated manuscripts and ceramics. You will have lunch in the Medina then explore the fascinating cobbled lanes of the Medina, and richly decorated Attarin Medersa, and the Neijarin Fountain. View the medieval tannery, the mosques, the Fondouks where the donkeys and their owners gather, and the infinite variety of merchandise of handcraft’s and edible goods to copperware and pottery. Spend the night in Fes.
Day 4: Fes / Ifran / Azrou / Middel Atlas / Midelt / Errachidia / Ziz Valley / Erfoud / Erg Chebbi
After breakfast you will travel to Ifrane, the Swiss mountain village, and the cedar forests of Azrou where you will have the opportunity to wander amongst the famous Moroccan monkeys in their natural environment. You then pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the only tunnel in Morocco, and through the Valley of Ziz with miles of palm trees and high cliffs. Your excursion will take you deeper south to the Sahara Desert where you will stay the evening at a Kasbah alongside the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Day 5: Erg Chebbi / Merzouga / Khamlia / Rissani / Camel Trek:
Here in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the largest in Morocco, enjoy the panoramic scene of black volcanic rock on the plains, the bright blue sky, the green palm trees, white salt beds, mirages of water, and golden shifting dunes. Visit Rissani for the weekly markets where Nomads come to sell. Pass the lake in Merzouga to see the flamingos. Have lunch with our Berber family and friends before beginning your camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the evening in a bivouac (camp), enjoy a Moroccan dinner, and sleep in a traditional Nomad camel hair tent.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi / Tafilalet Oasis / Todra Gorge / Dades Valley:
Wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert and enjoy breakfast. Bivouac trekkers will return by camel and continue to Todra Gorges. You will travel through some of Morocco's wildest terrain in a 4x4 to reach the Dadès Gorges and for the energetic, have the opportunity to trek into the fabulous Gorges. Stay the evening in Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Gorges / Rose Valley / Skoura Oasis / Ouarzazat:
After breakfast, walk in the stillness of mountains and appreciate the isolated lifestyle of the Berbers. Everywhere, you will discover a new scene of daily life. Departure from your hotel sets out towards Ouarzazate through the city of El Kelaâ M”Gouna known for its Rose Festival. You will have the opportunity to appreciate the fresh oasis and palm plantations, numerous Kasbahs and landscape of the Hight Atlas Mountains, and visit one of the best preserved Kasbahs in Morocco: Tourirt. Spend the night in Ouarzazat.
Day 8: Ouarzazat / Ait Ben Hadou / Hight Atlas / Marrakech
After breakfast Enjoy breakfast and continue the journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou that is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River. This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, and Gladiator. You will then continue to Marrakesh over the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and of the Berber villages,will lead you to the imperial city of the South, Marrakech. Here you will find amazing architecture and an extraordinary street life that makes it a fascinating stop. You will have time to investigate the many shops and the narrow alleys around the city. In the evening, the center of life is in the Djemâa El-Fna Square, where a swarm of fanciful snake charmers, narrators, minstrels, fortune-tellers entertain amid the stalls of foods and fresh orange juice. Spend the night in Marrakech.
Day 9: Sightseeing around Marrakech:
After breakfast you will have full day tour of Marrakech including a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city ramparts and lunch. You will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Majorelle Garden, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Dar Si Saïd Palace, a museum of jewelry, kaftans, leatherwork, carpets, chests and doors. Spend the night in Marrakech.
Day 10: End of your tour
Depends on your flight and departure time transfer to the Airport for a departure.
