Kelaat M'Gouna, is a town located in the South of Morocco, in the region of Drâa-Tafilalet and the province of Tinghir You are here in the Valley of the Roses and at the beginning of the road of the thousand and one (1001) kasbahs. El-Kelâa M'Gouna is the main production center for water and rose products in Morocco.
The festival of roses, called Moussem, takes place every May of each year; when harvesting the precious petals. This feast lasts three days; it celebrates the arrival of the roses, a popular activity in the Kalaat M'Gouna region, is to sprinkle them with rose water and everyone comes together to elect the queen of roses!!!.
