Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech » Transfer to the Riad

Welcome to Morocco! The Morocco travel itinerary 10 days starts with a welcoming Airport pickup by one of our excellent tour guides. From the Airport you will be transferred to a completely traditional Riad for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

Your 10 Days in Morocco tour starts with a perfect way to explore Marrakech and the shining Sites that this Moroccan imperial city has to show. Morocco is undoubtedly a rich country which means every city has something special historical, cultural, or even Traditional. Africa North Journeys Agency has booked an expert local guide to lead and help you discover Marrakech and all its hidden gems that never end. Starting with; Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, and ending with a Memorable wander at the Medina and Jamaa el Fna Square. Day 3 : Marrakech » Tizi N’Tichka » Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah » Ouarzazate » Rose Valley » Boumalne Dades (Gorge)

On day three of your 10-day Morocco tour, we depart from Marrakech towards the mesmerizing city of Boumalne Dades. Be prepared to become fascinated along the way. Today’s first stop is Tizi N’Tichka, a picturesque pass in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. The site is 2260 meters above sea level. From there, we drive straight to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A historical UNESCO has registered it as a World Heritage Site since 1987, and it is located between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. Feel free to climb the stairs of the Kasbah to reach the top of the hill to witness the breathtaking oasis and river.

Furthermore, have a stroll inside the old buildings to get an idea of how the ancient Berbers built their houses. After enjoying a leisurely lunch, we continue our journey to Kalaat M’Gouna, a well-known and charming small city surrounded by roses. Finally, we will arrive at Boumalne Dades, where we will spend a peaceful night in a lovely Riad.

Day 4 : Boumalne Dades » Tinghir » Todgha Gorge » Rissani » Sahara Desert (Camel Ride)

The Fourth day of your 10 Days Morocco tour starts after a typical breakfast and taking a much-needed shower, we visit the Dades Gorge, one of the natural wonders where rivers, mountains, rocks, and curves come together to form a marvelous panorama for the eyes. After witnessing this magical landscape, we set off to another enchanting gorge called Todgha, which will amaze you with its breathtaking river and rocks reaching 300 meters in height. Feel free to wander around the place and appreciate it.

Later, after a break for lunch, depart for the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, board the camel to cross the Golden Dunes. In the middle of the dunes, you will take a break to admire the sunset, then continue your journey to the desert camp, where tea and sweets await you. Enjoy dinner and desert vibes with Berber music created by the staff. Overnight stay in a nice tent.

Day 5 : Sahara Desert Excursion by 4*4 (Visiting Nomads, Gnawas, Oases…)

Our journey to see the Gnawa musicians begins today. We’ll also visit a fossil museum and have tea with the actual nomads who live behind the Erg Chebbi dunes. Later on, in Mefiss, where many mines exist even after Morocco’s independence, some locals are still extracting fossils, eyeliner, and minerals from 100 to 300 meters underground. Next, we will have lunch at a local restaurant that specializes in making Berber pizza.

After that, we continue our explorations and visit one of the area’s oases! If you are interested in experiencing the thrill of quad biking in the desert, please let your driver know so he can make the necessary arrangements. Afterward, we will transfer you to the hotel. If you still want to enjoy your time in the dunes, take the “sandboard (free rental)”. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 : Sahara Desert » Erfoud » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Cedar Forest » Ifrane » Fes

Wake up early today to catch one more last sunrise in the desert and witness the magical view of the sand’s color changing every time the sun goes up. After leaving Merzouga, the 10 Days in Morocco tour takes us to Fes via Ziz Valley, Midelt, and Cedar Forest, where Barbary Macaques lives. We will also pass through Ifrane, a city located in the middle of the Atlas Mountains; it’s called the Little Switzerland of Morocco. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the scientific capital Fes for an overnight stay at a well-known traditional Riad located in the heart of the Medina.

Day 7 : Sightseeing Tour in Fes with a Local Guide

After breakfast, begin your day with a charming city tour of Fes. An experienced local guide from the city will be your companion, showing you all of Fes’s interesting sites and answering any questions you might have about the history or anything you didn’t understand. The sightseeing tour begins at the Blue Gate, or Bab Bou Jeloud, the city’s most recognizable landmark. You will be amazed by the beautiful architecture and detailed blue tile work.

Next visit: Fes el-Bali (Old Medina) is one of the world’s largest car-free urban zones, and its winding lanes are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your visit to the Medina includes the tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, and the university. Your city trip will conclude with a return to the Riad for the night.

Day 8 : Fes » Meknes » Volubilis » Rif Mountains » Chefchaouen

The eight day of your 10 Days Morocco tour starts from Fes to Chefchaouen unveils Morocco’s rich history and stunning landscapes, blending ancient wonders and cultural charm. The first today’s stop is Meknes, an imperial city steeped in history. Feel free to visit here the following sites if they are open (Bab Manosur, Qara Prison, Sahrij and Hri Souani, and finally Moulay Ismail Mausoleum).

Next, we continue to Volubilis, where the Roman ruins stand testament to a bygone era, inviting exploration amidst ancient columns and worn stones. Afterward we cross the Rif Mountains to reach the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen. Once we drop you off in your Riad feel free to wander and stroll around the Medina.

Day 9 : Chefchaouen » Rabat » Casablanca

Today begins with a typical breakfast and then leaves Chefchaouen for a journey to Casablanca via Rabat. Along the way, soak in the mesmerizing landscapes that line the highway. Once we arrive in Morocco’s capital and royal city (Rabat), we begin a small city tour to understand the hidden gems and historical sites of this ready-made and clean city. First, let’s look at the Hassan Tower, also known as the Hassan Tower.

Yacoub al-Mansour built it in 1195 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower is part of a larger complex that also includes Mohammed V’s Mausoleum. The Kasbah of Oudayas, a magnificent and significant historical site, forms a fortified citadel on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regreg River. After lunch in Rabat, we continue to Casablanca, where we will stay overnight in a fabulous hotel.

Day 10 : Casablanca » Marrakech Airport

Today we will leave Casablanca and head to the city of Marrakech. Before we hit the road, we pay a brief visit to the fascinating seventh-largest mosque in the world and the third-largest in Africa. Known as the Hassan II Mosque, once the visit is over, we move on. We will reach Marrakech after a 3-hour drive. At the airport, your Morocco travel itinerary 10 days comes to an end.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Arrival at Casablanca airport. Meet & greet with your driver. Depending on arrival time, visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most stunning mosques in the world, beautifully set on the Atlantic coast.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

After breakfast, drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the ocean.
Continue to the artistic coastal town of Asilah, known for its whitewashed medina and vibrant murals.

Day 3: Asilah – Tangier

Day 1: Tour from Marrakech to Dades Valley

{330 km) 7 Hours

Our driver will pick up you from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m and your 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga get started towards Dades valley, through the Tizi- N-Tichka pass at 2260 m high above the sea level in the High Atlas mountains.

We will enjoy the scenic road in mountains, we will admire beautiful landscapes with different colors, we pass so many authentic Berber villages along the way to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco and Oscar film studios then we will have lunch here.

The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove a wonderful place to contemplate scenery and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area.

In this Valley damascenes, roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. The Rose Festival is held here annually in May, it is an important museum for Moroccan culture we continue to Dades Valley where we'll spend the night at the hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 2: From Dades Valley to Merzouga desert

{270 km} 4 Hours

After breakfast at the hotel, our 4 Days Marrakech To Merzouga Tour depart to Todra Gorge the Berber villages are scattered along the way pass- through Tinghir we'll stop to admire the beautiful Todra valley full of palm trees before we arrive at Todra Gorges that are currently one of the most popular rock climbing destinations in Morocco.

Here we will have a short walk through its grey and pink high canyons that can reach 300 m after that we'll head to Tinjdad and Touroug where we'll have lunch then to Erfoud which will feel the beginning Saharan oasis of Tafilalet afterward we will continue our way to Merzouga and majestic Erg Chebbi dunes.

From here you will take a camel ride for about one hour and a half in order to get to your Nomadic Berber tents during the trek you will take a break in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset, try sandboarding if that's an activity you're interested in, take photos and enjoy the scenery...

After the sun goes down you will continue to the camp where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, dinner, campfire, music party, and overnight stay at Berber camp Merzouga.

Day 3: From Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate

{370 km) 5 Hours

The next day, after watching the sunrise you'll have breakfast and shower at camp then you can ride the camels or transfer back by 4WD back to the originally started point where you will meet your driver.

Then we'll travel to Ouarzazate driving through Rissani to visit its Weekly traditional market if we are lucky to be here in one of the days of the market (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday).

Afterwards we'll drive through the arid pre- desertic area where we'll see acacia typical trees of this landscapes. On the way to the Draa valley, we'll make some stops to admire the beautiful views of the river that gives name to the valley. It's the longest river in Morocco.

Our 4 Days Marrakech To Merzouga Tour continues towards Ouarzazate crossing the Anti Atlas. We'll have some free time for lunch in the city and in the afternoon we continue our journey to Ouarzazate arrival in the late afternoon/evening, dinner, and overnight at hotel.

Day 4: From Ouarzazate to Marrakech

After breakfast in your hotel, we will drive to visit the ksar (fortified village) of Ait ben Haddou the famous Kasbah declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 numerous films have been shot in this spectacular place including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz...etc before traveling through Tizi n'Tichka making stops on the way to enjoy the superb views of these mountains and authentic Berber villages, lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the Atlas. then we will continue to Marrakech arrival in the afternoon and end our 4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.

Dopo la colazione, ci dirigiamo verso le Gole di Todra, un canyon spettacolare con pareti alte fino a 300 metri, ideale per passeggiate e fotografie. Proseguiremo attraversando villaggi berberi e l’oasi di Erfoud fino a raggiungere Merzouga, alle porte del deserto del Sahara.
