The Hassan II Mosque is one of the most iconic landmarks in Morocco, attracting visitors from all over the world. This stunning monument is located in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, and is one of the largest mosques in the world.

The history of the Hassan II Mosque dates back to the late 1980s when King Hassan II of Morocco commissioned the construction of this grand mosque to commemorate his 60th birthday. The mosque was designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau and features intricate details and beautiful craftsmanship that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Morocco.

It was the beginning of the 12th century when the great Sultan Yacoub al Mansour ordered the construction of the Hassan Tower and its adjoining mosque in Rabat. Having already planned the creation of the iconic Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech and planned the restoration of the ancient Udayas Kasbah, the sultan now moved on to another impressive project: the building of the world’s tallest minaret and largest mosque.
An earthquake in 1755 further damaged the incomplete site, tearing down some of the central columns of the mosque. Most of these, however, were restored and help to portray the intended dimensions of the original project. The imposing minaret also survived the earthquake and dominates almost every view of the magnificent city of Rabat.
A Modern Masterpiece
Just across these unfinished ruins stands the striking Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Built in the 1950s and inaugurated six years after the death of Mohammed V in 1961, the structure is considered today a masterpiece of modern Alouite dynasty architecture.

The tanning process involves soaking animal hides in large vats of water and natural dyes to produce leather products. The neighborhood is home to several traditional leather tanneries that still use these methods today. One unique fact about the tanneries is that they are still operated manually without the use of machinery. Visitors can witness the tanning process and learn about the traditional techniques used to create some of Morocco's most sought-after leather goods

Holding the longest charitable breakfast table in Africa on the prestigious Avenue M, Marrakech (the street where the Cristiano Hotel is located)
The charity table was about 500 meters long, accommodating 1,250 people. Breakfast was accompanied by celebrities from the world of business and finance. .
Income from this charitable initiative organized by the Marrakech Restaurants Association.. after which he came to the place and ate breakfast for free.
