The dunes of the desert inspire me to embrace the unavoidable changes of life. To let the winds come and move me, shifting my being into new perspectives. Taking me from valleys to high mountain tops, and allowing people to walk through and leave their footprints on my soul, even if they are there for just a day. I am reminded that as she is made up of a billion little pieces, so am I. Little moments that have shaped me, taught me, and designed me into who I am at each present moment. The desert is so impressionable, malleable, and moved, but yet ironically, she always stands firm, strong, and remains who she is.
This was a childhood dream come true for me. Since I was a young child the desert and her unexplainable mystery has called me and always appeared in my dreams: now, I am here (: I’m so beyond thankful for this opportunity and thank God everyday for these chances to grow and observe his magnificent glory 🤍

This is how our camels carry the luggage. The saddle comes first, then some blankets and then the baskets. It's important that these are filled with a symmetric weight distribution. Otherwise the camel can't keep its balance, especially when going up and down mountains or dunes. The camel guide is in charge of packing, but of course everyone helps out. After a few days it's easy to know what goes where and in which order.
